This read had me page turning for answers, beginning with an explosion at a North Carolina furniture factory. Why? Then the dying request given to Dr Gil, and we are there as he goes about making that happen. We are given some sweet romance between two individuals with personal lives and relationship not being the best. The author does deal with some tough subjects here, along with trafficking, murder, and kidnapping. Then there is also stalking and new siblings! We are there as Gil and Alex try forging ahead in a relationship! There is a lot going on in this short read, but the answers come to a lot of questions! There is also some closure! Will be look for more by this author! I received this book through the Launch Team, and was not required to give a positive review.
