It's cute
This book has each page you can color with a full colored version of it, which is cute. It has some nice more detailed pages you can draw on and then some more in a sticker/chibi drawings style.

Disappointed with the Quality
I am a huge fan of the Empyrean series, and a loyal follower but I was highly disappointed by the quality of this coloring book. My first problem is the fact that there are several AI generated images in this coloring book. There is a mass amount of hand drawn fan art that could have gone into this coloring book, but that hard work was over shadowed by the AI generated images that were put into the book. The other problem is that when coloring, if you press down to hard the ink from the page your coloring on, will transfer onto the next page, almost like transfer paper. For clarification the art on the next page that is pre-colored is blotchy and the part you color on has the missing ink from the prefilled in page. Over all Im disappointed by the art that was chosen the quality of the ink used to print. This disappointed me as other prices of Empyrean merchandise Ive gotten has been much higher quality.

Would be better without AI Imagery
As a fan of The Empyrean series I must say that this coloring book has potential but with one major downside. The fan art interpretations featured range in different styles from various featured artists--a collaboration I'm loving. However, there's a couple AI images amongst all the entries, with one even being pixelated with dragon silhouettes smacked on (due to the other art in the book, this is enhancing the cheap look of AI art). Given the unethical practices of generative AI it is a shame to see it in the book. Aside from that, the other featured artwork is splendid and luckily outweighs the amount of AI in it. It's also a cool feature to have the original fan art pieces alongside the versions of them you can color. I wouldn't recommend fellow fans who are against generative AI buy this book--had I know there'd be such, I would've avoided it.
