Not working after 18 months

I bought the product because it seemed rugged, but it stopped working after 18 months for no reason. The red light is on, but does not heat up at all. I use it during the cooler months only and for 4 hours maximum per weekday. I use it under my desk without shoes, so no trace of wear at all. Of course, I no longer have the invoice. I do not recommend.

Disappointment!

I really liked this heating mat, but unfortunately it stopped working! The red light comes on but no heat escapes from the mat. However, I did not fold it and I only put my feet on it with slippers. At the price it is sold, this mat should have lasted at least 5 years, and it has barely exceeded two years. Disappointment

Worked great for 24 months

Worked fabulous for 24 months then just stopped working. This was used at a basement home office under a desk during winter months (December-March). No shoes or any direct standing pressure on the mat so surprised it died. Light still shows on the switch but no heat. It worked very well when it did but 24 month lifespan for an extremely mild/light use is disappointing.

I purchased this less than a year ago and it stopped working today. Very disappointed. I had one previously, a different brand, and it worked for over six years.

I recommend this mat to my friends and family. Solved my problem with always being cold working from home. The temperature is just perfect on a lower setting. Looks safe to use.

I love this floor mat. It has two settings, I use the lower setting and it is perfect. Keeping my feet warm all winter long as I work from my desk at Home. I have referred it to others. Also, the Customer Service department is extremely wonderful. They make every effort to take care of you as their customer making sure that you are fully satisfied with their products.

I had a question about the foot warmer product I had just unboxed, I called the support number and in less than 15 seconds I was talking to a real person that obviously works for the company and that knew alot about the product. My question was answered in less than a minute, thanks very much!
Bird-X Heating Mat - Waste of my money

I purchased two of these mats. One for my home office. One for my recliner chair footrest. Within 3 months the cord broke at the cord and mat junctions. Very bad designed with a very cheap electrical cord. You can't even replace the cord because it broke right at the mat area so that you don't have any wire to connect a new cord. Just down-right stupid design. My $80 has gone down the drain. See picture.
Not just a foot warmer

I raise chickens - in the spring I suspend a "foot warmer" (flat on a piece of wire grid) above my baby chickens - replaces those horrible dangerous red heat bulbs that everyone else uses, or the more expensive "Sweeter Heater". After the chicks are grown and winter sets in I flop the "foot warmer" on the floor in the chicken house and set their water pans on it - not only no frozen water but rather they get warm water to drink all winter. Great product - I have two of them and have had them for over 3 years. Needless to say several of my chicken raising friends have them too.
Does the job.

It does what is says it does. It warms my feet. I use it on a carpet, so it is necessary to place a wooden spacer under it, but that said it solves the cold feet problem.

I had to take it back, but it's a good product. I purchased it to have it under my desk. However, the instructions said you could not use it on carpets - only tile and wood floors.

Returning, not warm enough to do much. Certainly will not heat through shoes even on high. Also tried Toasty Toes - https://www.target.com/p/indus-tool-toasty-toes-heated-footrest-black-90w-tt/-/A-10803388. Toasty Toes seems to get hotter, not sure if it is hot enough to go through shoes though. Without shoes the tops of my feet are still cold, even if the bottoms are hot.

I improved my quality of life so much with this purchase. I was always so cold in my office, where we have concrete floors with thin carpet inside cubicles. This arrived last week, and I plugged it in, and I have not felt cold ever since. Like one of the other reviewers said, I put this on the floor on top of a thick clear plastic carpet protector (everyone has this at my office to keep the carpet cleaner, or maybe for the chairs to roll on). So far I've only used it on the low setting -- it doesn't seem to hurt the plastic protector or the carpet underneath. I wonder if the high setting will cause damage to the carpet like they warn me, but the low is warm enough so I haven't had to put it on high. On low, I can stand on it in thick wool socks without my feet burning but not in thin socks or barefoot. Mine says "made in China" which I usually avoid but this has been a life saver for me at the office, so I'm okay with it. The cord is long enough for my use, and I like the small red dot that lights up on the switch, so I'm reminded to turn it off at the end of the day when I see it.

Very warm even on low setting. Takes a bit for it to warm up then steady toasty warm heat for the feet!
Outstanding product.

Pros: strong heat. Very durable construction - looks like it will last forever. Lighted on-off switch in the cord so you can see it's turned on. Uses far less power than a space heater. Cons: none. Notes: Awesome product. I live in an old house with very drafty windows, so my feet get cold in winter when I'm at my desk (next to the window). WAY more effective than a space heater. This product would also be great on an unheated concrete floor if you had to do a lot of standing, even with heavy boots on.

Your feet will be warm because this thing gets hot. I have to wear shoes, it's too hot for bare feet.
