Yes!
I recommend this mat to my friends and family. Solved my problem with always being cold working from home. The temperature is just perfect on a lower setting. Looks safe to use.

Bird-X Heating Mat - Waste of my money
I purchased two of these mats. One for my home office. One for my recliner chair footrest. Within 3 months the cord broke at the cord and mat junctions. Very bad designed with a very cheap electrical cord. You can't even replace the cord because it broke right at the mat area so that you don't have any wire to connect a new cord. Just down-right stupid design. My $80 has gone down the drain. See picture.

Does the job.
It does what is says it does. It warms my feet. I use it on a carpet, so it is necessary to place a wooden spacer under it, but that said it solves the cold feet problem.

I had to take it back, but it's a good product. I purchased it to have it under my desk. However, the instructions said you could not use it on carpets - only tile and wood floors.

Returning, not warm enough to do much. Certainly will not heat through shoes even on high. Also tried Toasty Toes - https://www.target.com/p/indus-tool-toasty-toes-heated-footrest-black-90w-tt/-/A-10803388. Toasty Toes seems to get hotter, not sure if it is hot enough to go through shoes though. Without shoes the tops of my feet are still cold, even if the bottoms are hot.

Office life improved so much
I improved my quality of life so much with this purchase. I was always so cold in my office, where we have concrete floors with thin carpet inside cubicles. This arrived last week, and I plugged it in, and I have not felt cold ever since. Like one of the other reviewers said, I put this on the floor on top of a thick clear plastic carpet protector (everyone has this at my office to keep the carpet cleaner, or maybe for the chairs to roll on). So far I've only used it on the low setting -- it doesn't seem to hurt the plastic protector or the carpet underneath. I wonder if the high setting will cause damage to the carpet like they warn me, but the low is warm enough so I haven't had to put it on high. On low, I can stand on it in thick wool socks without my feet burning but not in thin socks or barefoot. Mine says "made in China" which I usually avoid but this has been a life saver for me at the office, so I'm okay with it. The cord is long enough for my use, and I like the small red dot that lights up on the switch, so I'm reminded to turn it off at the end of the day when I see it.

Hot product
Your feet will be warm because this thing gets hot. I have to wear shoes, it's too hot for bare feet.

Happy Feet!
Best investment of $35! I bought mine last year and turned it on today. I do work in an office with a concrete floor and this has been a lifesaver! It's difficult to focus on my work when my feet are freezing cold! I even slip my feet under it so the tops of my feet can warm up. It's easy to clean and takes up very little space during use or storage. I would highly recommend this product.

Misleading Information
The information made available when ordering does not state the warmer can only be used on specific types of flooring. But instructions provided with shipment state the footwarmer can only be used on concrete, stone, or tile floors and can't be used on wood or carpet. Very dissappointed this information was not provided BEFORE ordering as it was intended for use on a carpeted floor at work. The instructions do state you can use cardboard under the warmer to insulate against the heat causing damage to the floor.

Excellent!...and Made in the U.S.A.
Gets nice and warm. Very sturdy construction: obviously built to last. The one thing it lacks is a timer so it can shut itself off if you forget to.
