It has a delicious fresh taste, and the texture is always good compared to other brands who sometimes mush up. I love that you have the option to steam the product with their packaging but you can also pan fry it. I also love that it has egg in it which a lot of the fried ricedishes out there leave out. This is the closest I have found to restaurant quality fried rice.

However, INNOVASIAN vegetable fried rice is delicious, and it tasted similar to rice that you would buy at a Chinese restaurant! This rice had a good texture, an even balance of vegetables and flavor, plus it was really easy to heat up! I added some fried chicken and made a fulfilling meal from this, and it was enough to feed my husband and I. He liked it, too. I will definitely purchase INNOVASIAN Vegetable rice in the future and recommend this to anyone who likes fried rice.

The Innovasian Vegetable Fried Rice is a great side dish. The frozen rice can be heated using a microwave (Innovasian preferred method) or pan frying. I used the microwave method and the rice was thawed and ready to eat in five minutes. The ingredients were tender and moist once heated. The combination of egg, onions, carrots, red bell peppers, and edamame are a flavorful addition to the rice. Note: Packaging states that this contains bioengineered food ingredients. I would purchase and recommend the Innovasian Vegetable Fried Rice.

The preferred method is Microwave, however we chose to cook the rice using the pan fry method. The ingredient deck is overall pretty healthy, and much healthier than a fast food place. The side dish was perfect for a meal when we didn't feel like cooking and a great value price wise. The flavor was a little bland so we added some soy sauce on top.
