This pot only goes for one hour. The stainless steel insert pot does not clean up well. It has a poor quality finish onside do you have to s rub the daylights out of it to get it clean. The cord is no longer detachable.which makes it a nightmare to store and contain. I do not recommend thus version.
Don't buy at any cost!!!

The product is of poor quality, and after a year, the company shows no concern for damaged sensors. Mine broke within that time frame, and when I reached out to customer service, they advised me to discard the entire product. Instead of offering a replacement for the product (sensor), they expect you to purchase a new unit. I am so disappointed with this company. I need my full refund or do replacement asap:(

When the pressure release valve will fail (and it will) the only option will be to replace the entire machine because this small 2 inches piece is not available anywhere. I don't think it is a good marketing strategy. Hey! Instant Pot, are you aware of the state of the planet?

Within 2 years it had issues with the display screen and buttons not working. It has turned out to be faulty. It is clear that the product is not functioning properly and is not meeting the standards you have promised.I have contacted the instant pot customer service team numerous times regarding this issue, and to my dismay, I have been repeatedly informed that there are no repair services available and no assistance will be provided after warranty is over. This lack of support is unacceptable, especially when the fault lies with the product itself. As a customer of your brand, I expected better quality and service.I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. Do not buy this instant pot, you will not be getting any service or support.
Highly recommend

I have been a long time lover of Instant Pot. I have owned several pressure cookers from them. I always have at least 2 of them in my kitchen. I have gotten years of trouble free use out of them I have turned many friends on to buying them. I upgraded to the Pro Plus because of the canning feature. I have had issues with this one from the start but it at least functioned, until it didn't. It gets stuck on pre-heat and never starts the countdown even after it comes up to pressure. I reached out to customer service and they had me do some tests. They asked me to send a pic of my heating element (which has had nothing spilled on it but has some discoloration from basic use). They said it's my fault that it doesn't function properly because of the discoloration on the heating element (again nothing was ever spilled on the element ever and in no way has it been mistreated or abused). They refused to do anything about it. So now my most expensive instant pot is trash after barely a year of light use. I am disappointed and saddened that after such loyalty as a customer that there is none from customer service.

One of my favorite Instant Pots ever! So many functions on this IP, the canning function being my favorite. The touch screen is awesome and very visible even though it is mirrored. I love being able to set my release to natural, pulse or quick with a tap of the screen. I REALLY love that I can control everything from my phone with the WiFi feature.

I've been an Instant Pot user for ten years, and absolutely love how much faster I can prepare meals that once took hours. But a month ago, I decided to upgrade my Duo Plus with this amazing machine and I'm so glad I took the plunge.Setting up the WiFi was a breeze . . .and having the ability to control the entire process from my phone is game changing. I absolutely love not having to go near the machine to release the pressure. The one thing all pressure cooker users dread, releasing steam, has become amazingly effortless. But lastly, I love the ease with which I can can. If doing a small batch, I don't have to lug out the giant scary pot that Lois more like a bomb than a pressure canner . . .my new Instant Pot Pro plus tackles the job with ease.Thank you, Instant Pot for making making a wonderful machine, even better. Please make a 3 qt and 8 qt model and I'll happily buy those too.
It's perfect

If your InstantPot Pro's steam release velve got damaged for some reason, you will never find the replacement unit at any places in the market, the company needs to list InstantPot Pro's accessories online for customers.

I have heard of people raving about Instapots, so I've always wanted to try out. I was a little intimidated at first, but once my husband and I figured it out, WOW, what a time saver this has been. I wish we had purchased one sooner. This Instapot is easy to use. It also cooks enough food for my family of four (meaning it's a good size for my family). It's been so easy to use that even my husband has been looking up recipes to try. He recently made chicken parmigiana with ziti pasta in this Instapot and it turned out delicious. It's almost as if the sauce got 'infused' into the pasta. It tasted restaurant quality! This is easy to clean, which is a bonus if you ask me.

I love our new Instant Pot Pro Plus Multi-cooker! With the holidays coming up (and cooler weather in general) we have been using it to make many different recipes that we can freeze after making (planning ahead - woohoo)! I love that the The Instant Pot Pro Plus is a fully connected multi-cooker that I can wirelessly operate through the Instant Brands Connect app. I like that I can run errands, do chores, work in another room and it will let me wirelessly release steam as needed. It tells me when I need to take the next steps like sauteeing items, when to cover the pot, etc. I can multi-task with the app and my Instant Pot! Some of my favorite recipes which are made easy with the Instant Pot and are available on their website and app are the Chinese BBQ Ribs, Lasagna Margherita, Almost No-Knead Bread and the Slow Cooked Peach Cobbler!
Love the new features!

I'm a bit of an appliance hound, and I've had a few Instant Pots over the years. I can't tell you how excited I am to the new IP Pro. In addition to being able to get rid of TWO appliances on my kitchen counter, this new IP is smarter than me. Okay, maybe not smarter, but I'm digging the new app controls.I made hard boiled eggs in my new IP last week (If you haven;'t done this, it's life changing) and my husband immediately noticed I didn't have to race to the kitchen to release the steam. Game changer. Not to mention I love the new steam valve as compared to other models. Remember, I am an appliance nerd.I am LOVING the handles on the inner pot and the flexibility of moving it to the stove top or oven if needed. Instant Pot it's like you read my mind. No more spinning pot, no more burning fingers, NONE. It makes a huge difference in my use of the pot.Next thing up is trying out the sous vide functions. I recently passed my large and cumbersome sous vide oven to my neighbor when I heard the new IP had a sous vide function. Yep, before I even tried it. Maybe I am crazy, but I am so excited, if you haven't prepared veggies sous vide, well, you are missing out, I will be trying it out this weekend.|Slow cooker? Yes please. Another appliance I was able to get off my counter. The new display is easy to clean - no crevices to spill chili in (it's happened) and really easy to read. Plus you can control everything from your phone if you want. It's ridiculous and brilliant at the same time. The only downside? When I tried to take a photo it's so reflective I am reminded I need to clean off my kitchen island first. HAHAHHAH.Loving the new IP! Can't wait to play with it more.
I'm a believer!

I was provided an Instant Pot Pro Plus in exchange for a review. I never bought into the Instant Pot trend. I knew a lot of people buying one and trying to convert me into getting one. I would hear the stories of meals that would take 4 hours to cook is cooked in 40 - 45 minutes. This type of cooking didn't seem real to me. It felt like some type of magic. When my Pro Plus arrived I was curious as to what I could make that would normally take me all day to cook in my slow cooker. I asked friends who had an Instant Pot and they gave me a few recipes to try out. With the weather dropping here, I decided to make a cold-weather staple in my home: Beef stew. Normally, this would take 4 - 6 hours in my slow cooker, but it took about an hour to cook with the Pro Plus. Yep, an hour. I controlled the entire cooking process from the app on my phone and it was an incredible experience. The meat was nice and tender and practically fell apart. The potatoes and carrots were soft and delicious. The entire meal was great and my family ate it all up. The only downfall about this unit is that it is going to replace my slow cooker and my rice cooker. Is that really a negative though? I'm just thinking of all the space this unit is going to save me when I put those other two items in storage. I am loving the app and marking recipes that I would love to try with my family. I think I have been converted to the church of the Instant Pot and that is a good thing.
