Q: How should I clean the inside basin of the crockpot?
A: Hello, Great question! For your Crock‑Pot 7 Qt Cook & Carry Programmable Easy‑Clean Slow Cooker, here’s how to clean the inside basin (the removable ceramic insert): 1. Always unplug the slow cooker and let the stoneware cool completely before cleaning. 2. The removable insert and lid are both dishwasher-safe, or you can wash them by hand in hot, soapy water. 3. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Use a soft cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula to remove food residue. 4. If you notice water spots or stains, you can remove them using a non‑abrasive cleaner or a little white vinegar. 5. Be careful about sudden temperature changes — don’t wash the hot insert with cold water, since that can crack the ceramic. If you’re dealing with really stubborn build-up, you can also try a 1:1 mix of water and white vinegar, heating it on low for about 30 minutes, then letting it cool and wiping the interior clean. If you have any other questions, our team is happy to help via Messenger or by phone at 1-800-323-9519, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. Sincerely, —Crock-Pot Consumer Care

Q: Is it safe to use the crockpot if there's a hairline crack?
A: Hello, Thanks for asking. We don’t recommend using the Crock-Pot 7 Qt Cook & Carry Programmable Easy-Clean Slow Cooker if there’s a hairline crack in the stoneware insert. Even small cracks can weaken structural integrity, causing the crock to break under heat or thermal stress. For your safety and to protect your cooker, it’s best to stop using the cracked insert and replace it with a new, genuine Crock-Pot stoneware replacement. If you need further assistance, you can contact us via Messenger or at 1-800-323-9519. Our team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. We’re committed to addressing any concerns you may have. Best regards, —Crock-Pot Consumer Care

Q: Does this have a time set to start cooking & a time set to stop cooking & switch to warm?
A: Hello Deb, Thank you for your inquiry. The 7qt Cook & Carry Programmable Easy-Clean Slow Cooker does not have a delayed start feature, so you cannot set a future time for it to begin cooking. However, it does allow you to set a cooking duration, and once that time is up, it will automatically switch to the “Warm” setting to keep your food at a safe serving temperature. If you have more questions, please reach out to us via the "Contact Us" form on our official website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am -5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Crockpot Consumer Care.

Q: What can you use to clean the inside of the unit?
A: Hello! Thank you for your question. To clean your unit turn your slow cooker off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. • The lid and stoneware can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. • As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot. • The outside of the heating base may be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners. CAUTION: Never immerse the heating base in water or other liquid For further questions or inquiries, you may also visit our Contact Us web form. On the CrockPot website, select "Contact us" from the drop-down menu after clicking the question mark logo in the top right corner, which will direct you to our contact web form. Thank you!

Q: Does this Crock-Pot have 3 or 4 feet on the base? I haave one Crock-Pot with a 3 feet base and find it less stable than my Crock-Pots with a 4 feet base. I frequently use several to cook a meal.
A: Hello! Thank you for reaching out regarding your Crock-Pot® 6 Qt. Cook & Carry Programmable Slow Cooker in Lambrusco. We understand your concern about stability when using multiple slow cookers at the same time 🍲. We would like to confirm that this model is designed with a 4-foot base, providing improved stability compared to models with only 3 feet. This should help ensure safe and steady placement during cooking. 🔧 Tips for optimal stability: 1. Place the slow cooker on a flat, heat-resistant surface. 2. Avoid overcrowding the counter when using multiple units simultaneously. If you run into any difficulties or have product-specific questions, feel free to reach out to us via our website or LiveChat. We’re available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM ET, and are happy to assist in any way we can. Have a nice day! CrockPot Consumer Care Team
