Q: What can you use to clean the inside of the unit?

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. To clean your unit turn your slow cooker off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. • The lid and stoneware can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. • As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot. • The outside of the heating base may be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Cooks too hot
Nonstick coating definitely makes it easier to clean but it cooks way too hot. It boils on warm. I loved my prior version but this new one I do not trust using it when I am not home which is the primary point. It will burn up a meal if on more than 4 hours.

Waste of money!
Purchased this to replace similar model I had for 20 years that had worn out. So disappointed! I’ve tried to use it several times and it does not cook food. Even after 8+ hours dishes such as beef stew & split pea soup are nowhere near cooked. Temperature control clearly does not work properly and I have had to transfer dishes to actually cook on stove. So frustrating and I’m guessing this could pose a health risk if meats never fully heat over a full day. Wish I had returned after first use…now it’s too late. Waste of money!!!

Major disappointment
Our old manual Crockpot wore out. We make a lot of chicken bone broth that we slow cook for 2-4 days. The manual controls were all we needed. It was problematic that there were no diodes to quickly tell that it was turned on and at what setting. So... We decide to upgrade to this more sophisticated electronic controlled model. Would you believe that there is no "ON" switch. You can only set it to timed cook between 30 minutes and 20 hours. SO... After 20 hours, if you don't remember to extend the timing, it shuts down and spoils your food. Is a manual ON/OFF switch that difficult to incorporate? Unbelievable! I want to return it but did not discover this limitation until using it for its first batch of bone broth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to purchase this crockpot because I needed it for an event. I was supposed to get it from influenster, but that never happened. I used the pot to make Asian marinated short ribs. Put all the ingredients in the pot overnight and let it do it's magic. The result was fall off the bone super tender korean short ribs. The cook and carry feature was great because I was able to plug it in at the pot luck party and serve my dish warm. It was a hit!

BUT, all my old crockpots were handed down to me by my parents so they were bound to break. So getting this one really changed the game for me. I love how it keeps food hot even after cooking. And I love how it snaps shut on the top! It makes transporting food to parties so easy because you’re not as afraid of it spilling everywhere. Super easy to use as well. Really straightforward. Also, easy to clean as it states, you don’t have to sit there and scrap food from the sides. Definitely will last me years to come.
