The glaze is covered over the pot, fired at high temperature to melt the glaze and then cooled down. The glaze liquid is then turned into coating the same as glass film on the surface of the pot. Love the size and portability of this pot but on the lowest setting of "Keep warm" the food comes to a full boil. So once food is done cooking it actually keeps cooking on what seems like High setting even if it is on warm. Realized this too late as the warranty is only one year.

The locking lid is a bonus for transporting it to another location as we did for a party. The color is also very nice and goes well with my kitchen color.

My husband bought this slow cooker for me since my old one stopped working. The base is very cheap, thin, and has lots of plastic. However, that’s not even my biggest issue with it. The lid and pot are two different shapes! The lid is too long and not wide enough for the pot. There is no way to make the lid fit. Impossible to get it to seal, making the unit unusable. We will be returning the product

I was gifted this crockpot for Christmas. The latches broke almost immediately. Within a couple of uses they were both broken. The crockpot gets too hot and burns everything even on the low or keep warm setting. Sadly I’ll be replacing this.

This item was complete junk. I prepared a meal for a party and on low it was so hot it boiled. I set it to the keep warm setting and the same thing it boiled! One whole side of the meal was burnt. Very disappointed in this product.

Purchased this after sadly our 10 yr old crock pot was dropped and the ceramic bowl cracked. As soon as we took this new one out of the box we noticed they are no longer made with a sturdy outer metal layer but instead a cheap thin tin facade that was already severely dented when we took it out of the package. I’m so disgusted and disappointed that crock pot has become such a cheaply made product. We immediately returned it and have no idea what we will purchase since they all seem to be this terribly made now.

This burns everything even on low. I like that it has the timer option, but everything comes out burnt. It doesn't matter if it's on high or low. Even when it is on keep warm, it is boiling.

Hello! We are sorry to hear your CrockPot has been overcooking. Due to the OneTouch control there is no dedicated button for low and high. On your slow cooker, both High and Low stabilize at the same temperature 209°F; it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point. On High, it takes approximately 3-4 hours, whereas, on Low, it takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. On the Warm setting, your slow cooker will achieve 165-175°F. Please remember that these are all approximate temperatures and they can vary depending on what you are cooking. The unit can also boil on High and Low. We do recommend that you always fill your slow cooker 1/2 - 3/4 of the way full, including at least one cup of liquid or sauce. You may have to adjust your cook times accordingly, especially if you are using older slow cooker recipes, or adapting regular recipes for slow cooker use.
