Absolutely love this Instant Pot!

Getting the upgrade is WORTH IT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, the upgrades on this from my previous Instant Pot are amazing. I already been using it for 8 years, and loved the one pot cooking (yay for less dishes), and the speed and ease of cooking dinner in my Instant Pot, but didn't think I needed to update it. Boy are these upgrades worth it! I love the screen that shows me where we are in the process like how soon it will be done preheating, and I really love the silicone handles that lift out the pot when I am going to clean it and pack up leftovers. Super convenient to have a switch on the top too for the pressure release instead of a valve. Cannot recommend the Instant Pot enough for busy families who hate doing dishes. I received this product for free in exchange for my review, but had no obligation to post a positive review.

Really cool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for my family of 5 and really like it. I have never used one before. It took a minute to understand how to actually use it, but once I figured it out it's super easy! I made baked potatoes and they turned out so good, just as good if not better than getting one at a steakhouse. It smelled amazing and cooked perfectly! I can't wait to keep using this with difference recipes. Very easy set up and easy to clean.

Fast meals

I have never used a pressure cooker before so I was a little nervous at first. I was very pleasantly surprised that this was very easy to use and dinner was ready within a half hour. It was easy to follow the directions and the recipes in the little booklet were easy to follow.

Great addition to my kitchen gadgets

I am glad I have this one now, it's super simple to use and great for quick or quicker meals. It's so easy to use that the first few times, I thought I was using the machine wrong. Since a lot of people use Instant pots, finding recipes and how-tos online is fast, and you can set it up quickly.

Love the versatility!

I do have one critique - when making yogurt on the boil setting, it doesn't actually get it up to the required 180 degrees, but I use the saute feature very briefly and it gets it up high enough!

My new favorite kitchen appliance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening the box was a bit daunting because it's so big, but we have six people in the house to feed, so the 8qt InstantPot Pro is perfect for our household. No difficult setup, just make sure the steam vent is in the correct position, plug it in, and do your test run! It comes with a recipe book as well as instruction manual, which is really nice because you get a good idea of what this bad boy can do, and it can do a lot! Ten different functions, not just a slow cooker or pressure cooker. We were able to get rid of three different, bulky kitchen appliances: The crock pot, the pressure cooker, even the bread maker! Yes, we baked bread with our InstantPot Pro! It can even make yogurt! The design of the InstantPot Pro is sleek and modern, the interface is intuitive and user-friendly. It's not complicated at all, and you can even save your favorite settings to make it even more simple. My family is loving the Pro, even my 18 year old uses it to bake and make curry. I'm highly impressed and I definitely recommend the InstantPot Pro!

My New Kitchen Sidekick—Does It All and Then Some!

I've used the pressure cooker, sauté, and even the bake settings, and every one of them works perfectly. It's super easy to use—even if you're not exactly a master chef—and just as easy to clean afterward. It runs pretty quietly too, aside from a few cheerful beeps here and there to let you know it's doing its thing. The included recipe book is actually really good (which is rare!). I've already tried several dishes, but the frittata has definitely stolen the spotlight—it turned out fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Pro tip: cut your veggies into bigger chunks—if they're too small, they'll burn faster than you can say "dinner's ready." Overall, this pressure cooker has made cooking fun, fast, and way less stressful. Total win in my kitchen!

Love the quick cooking time!

I love to make broth but hate how long it has to cook and how much it smells up the house. I made flavorful broth in 45 min with this instant pot and my chicken was even frozen with minimal smell. Big fan! The soup was great.

So Easy to use!! Great all around appliance!

Time savior

Better Than Expected
We've been using our 8qt instant pot pro now for two years. Im glad we got the pro model, it has a more powerful heating element, so it reaches pressure faster. It has worked out very well. We use it about twice a week.

Shame on you Instant pot
This pot only goes for one hour. The stainless steel insert pot does not clean up well. It has a poor quality finish onside do you have to s rub the daylights out of it to get it clean. The cord is no longer detachable.which makes it a nightmare to store and contain. I do not recommend thus version.

Don't buy at any cost!!!
The product is of poor quality, and after a year, the company shows no concern for damaged sensors. Mine broke within that time frame, and when I reached out to customer service, they advised me to discard the entire product. Instead of offering a replacement for the product (sensor), they expect you to purchase a new unit. I am so disappointed with this company. I need my full refund or do replacement asap:(

Useless without missing valve. No support!
The steam release valve was missing from our cooker when we unboxed it, but it was a gift so we have no proof of purchase or purchase date . Customer service will not send us another and they are out of stock/unavailable to buy. Without the value, it is useless junk

Stopped working at 14 months.
Title says it all. Like many other reviewers, the pressure release valve on my IP stopped working at 14 months. What a waste of money. Slow cooker feature doesn't work either. My first IP (different model) has worked for 6+ years and still works like a champ, but I wanted a larger model and liked how this one vented. I regret buying this. Very disappointed!

Stay away from this product
When the pressure release valve will fail (and it will) the only option will be to replace the entire machine because this small 2 inches piece is not available anywhere. I don't think it is a good marketing strategy. Hey! Instant Pot, are you aware of the state of the planet?
