Intex Dakota K2 2 Person Vinyl Inflatable Kayak and Accessory Kit w/ Oars & Pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this was my first kayak. my experience before had always been with a rigid kayak that we rented. this was one is nice because it is easy to transport (unlike a rigid one). it was easy to inflate and deflate. the seats are detachable. we took this on a slow river with a light current and not a lot of disturbance. it was easy to control. since we are not experienced i can not compare to how it should be, but for our use, the portability and ease of set up is perfect for beginners. i set it out in the sun to dry before storing it.

The kayak is sturdy and durable. It’s made very well and fits two people comfortably. We have had a lot of fun using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Intex 68310VM Dakota K2 2-Person Inflatable Kayak is a great kayak! It's a pretty large kayak and fits 2 adults quite well. It is well-designed and durable. I liked all the added features to it. The handles on each end are great for removing out of the water and for transport. The oars are a great length and really easy to assemble. It even comes with a couple bags that you can put your wet stuff in. I also like the bag you can put the kayak in for transport or storage. It comes with a manual air pump. I was a little skeptical of it at first because of how large the kayak was and thought it was going to take awhile to air up. Nope, it literally took about 5 minutes to air up using the manual pump. The only thing I wish was designed or made a little better was the seats. They have Velcro at the bottom that secures them to the boat and a strap that straps around the back of the seat and it buckled to the sides. The strap doesn't really stay tight and causes the seat to lay back and does not support you weight if you lean back on it. Overall, I think this is an great kayak!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Intex 68310VM Dakota K2 2-Person Heavy-Duty Vinyl Inflatable Kayak is easy to set up. The pump works well and fairly quickly. It is easy to deflate and pack back up into the included carry bag. It folds up small enough to transport in smaller vehicles easily. This kayak has plenty of room for 2 with a good amount of leg space. The removable seats are comfortable as well. The wet bags are definitely an added bonus. The first time we took it out one of the paddles came apart and we unfortunately lost one of the springs from it. Besides that we really like it and would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This definitely feels safe and secure despite the fear that it might not being inflatable. It’s easy to set up and tear down and works really well. I’d just be super Leary about accidentally scraping the bottom since it is just full of air. It’s definitely comfy to sit in though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had so much fun with this kayak!! It is very simple to blow up and get ready. The pump works great and is easy to use. I have pumped it up by myself but it is easier if you have someone helping. It is a little narrower inside than I thought it would be but there is plenty of room for my legs and feet. I love that it comes with paddles. They are simple to put together and work great!! It also two different sized fins for the bottom of the boat. One for shallow water and the other for deeper water. It is nice to have this option. It has a water proof storage bag for my shoes, wallet , and phone. Cool bag! It has a storage bag which fits it great as well as the pump. It works really well in the water and was easy to steer it. I love that there are two seats. You do have to get in sync with the other person though or you will hit paddles. Once you figure it out it is pretty neat. I have also taken it out by myself and it worked well! It is very sturdy in the water and I never felt like it would tip over. Yay! It is durable and I really like the extra protection layer in the front and back of the kayak. It is built well and I really love it!! It’s an awesome kayak and I am very pleased with it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I don't have much storage space in my apartment and I don't have a very big car, carrying a full-sized kayak around wasn't really an option. However, I still enjoy kayaking, so I tried this inflatable. This was still a novel experience for me because I have been in one previously, but it was a different brand and model.You can get an air compressor which will greatly speed up the time to get it inflated, so it wasn't too tough to inflate! Overall, I had a great time, and since I don't use it frequently, I'm delighted with my purchase and eager to use it again soon (maybe for a shorter period of time next time).

I was so happy with this kayak immediately me and my daughters took it out first then my oldest daughter is 10 years old and my youngest daughter is eight. They were both able to pump the kayak up by themselves in less than five minutes. What I’m trying to get at is that this was very simple that even a child can put it together. It was supposed to be a two seater kayak, but I was able to fit myself and both my daughters into the kayak and held us up perfectly without any problems. We took it to the lake on the first day and had a blast.the best thing is that you can take it apart and it fits in your trunk. So you don’t have to worry about where you are going to store it.

It’s more affordable for the inflatable’s than the other material kayaks. It was easy from beginning to loading myself into the kayak. It blows up very easily, and all you need to get started is in the box. It holds up to 400 pounds, so it holds two regular to moderate plus size size adults. I went in by myself and I am plus size. I was afraid at first because I don’t know what I’m doing but I watched a couple YouTube videos and I felt confident enough to give it a try. It floats in the water perfectly and the oars/udders (lol) work great to paddle through the river. The quality of the material is good, and I trusted it enough to get in it. It was fun, but next time I’ll bring a friend now that I know what to expect.

It comes with the pump to inflate and all the parts/boat fit into a bag of course fiting everything back in the bag is a challenge .the inital inflate took me about 10min but faster the more I do it. My kids love floating around in this kayak it does hold up to 400lb so it works for us when we go out. The bag it a bit heavy. The oars are simple snap together. It includes patch if needed
