Recessed bottoms and molded-in feet keep the IRIS cat litter box in place and the molded-in rims around the pan add strength and stability to the litter box tray. Designed by someone who has never used a litter box
The bottom of the litter box is not flat. There is a plateau in the center leaving a low ring around the inside of the inside. Also, the “handle” indent in the front creates two pockets. These two features combined make for a box that is very hard to scoop. There is no way I can keep these.

Litter stays in the box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this litter box is fit for cats off all sizes. The size is large enough for two cats to fit at once. It's very durable and easy to clean. Just snap the top off the base and clean away. The ledges are at such a hight that it controls the odor.

Too big even with 4 cats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't realize just how big this litter box was going to be. I usually use the Jumbo cat litter box liners, but this was too big for the jumbo liners to fit. I ended up needing to use a whole 40-pound box of litter to fill it. My cats were surprisingly okay with the open cover. But unfortunately, this box is just too big to maintain at the capacity that I need for my 4 cats. It was easier to take care of 2 boxes than it was to take care of this one.

Best little box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of this litterbox is amazing for my big 10lb kitty, and he absolutely loves it. My one gripe is that there are ridges all around the outside edge of the of the bottom of the box, which makes scooping (pee clumps in particular) a very annoying process. A smooth bottom would be a much better design, as the ridges cause the clumps to break into little bits when scooping which makes the litter dirtier. I use clay litter, so it might be fine for a different litter type. Size-wise, great litterbox.
