Makes our bananas look huge
Somehow our bananas are completely out of proportion with this piece, though the ones in the other photos look perfect. I’m wondering if ours is bent but it seems like it’s supposed to curve and I can’t get the stand to change at all. Not sure it will last which is a shame because it’s otherwise quite nice.

I wish I had passed on this!
This fruit basket is both too big and yet crowds the fruit too much. I know, sounds contradictory but hear me out… it’s big because it has two tiers, but the bananas hang so low that they basically take up all the space of the upper tier, which renders the upper tier unusable. Or if you decide to put a few pieces of fruit on it with bananas hanging above, they all ripen SO fast because of the bananas. Then, if you have big fruit (like honey crisp apples) they have to be forced through the space between the tiers, potentially bruising them. The wired nature of it also damages any fruit resting against it, so you’re really limited to just whatever fruit can sit comfortably on the wooden area. It’s overall just too bulky for my taste, given it’s storage capacity (or lack there of). I bought this in December ‘22 and have suffered with it ever since, but today I finally replaced it and I wish I had sooner!

Overall I love this fruit basket simply for the style it fits my home decor great. Plus it fits well in a corner. It has 2 baskets nice for separating fruits & veggies plus the banana hook is convenient and keeps them ripe longer. It is also study. Only downfall is one of the wood pieces is discolored which doesn’t look good but you can’t see it when the basket has stuff in it so I kept it.
