Due to cheap a PVC fitting that developed a crack, Water Weld saves the day. Also used it on a PVC thread leak and it worked there as well. Not my first JB Weld experience but first time with Water Weld. This is your "oh poo" fix it solution.
Doesn't work as advertised

Bought this for a gas tank repair. Emptied tank, let dry, filed area clean and roughed. Mixed up a portion of the stick and applied. Let it sit overnight and into the afternoon, about 16 hours. Filled tank for leak test. Looked good. Came back 2 hrs later, puddle under tank, putty soft.
it really works

I love this waterweld epoxy putty! I have two expensive pairs of headphones which broke like a cheap pair. One pair are Sony which used very cheap plastic which after about a year nearly shattered, and the other pair used thin aluminum for the frame. I thought for sure I was going to throw away my headphones, but I seen this putty in the store and tried it. Sure enough I was able to apply the putty around the break and wow it formed a rock hard repair that has lasted longer than the original materials! Thank you so much JB weld!

The spindle that connects to the washer plate on our clothes washer was stripped. I thought I would try some JB Weld Water Weld to make the connection and it worked perfectly! I was a hero at home that day. Many thanks.

TRIED TO USE THIS FOR REPAIRING A WATER SEEPER ON A 1 IN PVC PIPE. DRAINED THE PRESSURE. DE GREASED THE FITTINGS, USED A SCOTCH BRITE PAD TO ROUGH UP THE SURFACES, KNEADED THE PUTTY FOR SEVERAL MINUTES SO IT STUNK AND WAS ALL THE SAME COLOR. (USING LATEX GLOVES) SHAPED IT AROUND THE FITTING. HELD PRESSURE ON IT FOR 10 MINUTED WAITED 2 HOURS FOR IT TO CURE. ( I DID THIS TO 2 SEPARATE FITTINGS VERY LIGHT LEAKS) TURNED THE WATER BACK ON AND IT LEAKED !!!! BOTH FITTINGS !! I WATCHED THE MISTING LEAK BREAK THROUGH THE REPAIR !!! NEXT DAY I CUT THE PVC APART TO REPAIR IT PROPERLY. PUT THE CHANNEL LOCKS ON THE FITTING WITH THE "WATER WELD" ON IT TO UN THREAD THEM AND THE "WATER WELD" SHATTERED LIKE EGG SHELLS. DO NOT USE IT !!!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY QUICKER TO FIX IT PROPERLY DID NOT EVEN HOLD FOE A MINUTE !!!

this is a great product usually but came with seal half off, hence too dry to use properly.

I bought three tubes of JB Waterworld I was sure it’s gonna work. I had three drips different sections of a pipe and it didn’t work. Very disappointed. I read reviews on this product from other people and they weren’t good. I’m gonna try and get my money back.

I applied this to a pinhole leak on 1/2 galvanized pipe. I put the whole tube and I'm still getting a slow drip leak. I routed a pex tube from the attic to above the sink to monitor the slow drip and it is still dripping a week and half after applying. I had such high hopes for this, even believing that it would eventually settle and cure even with the slow drip. I have to find another solution as a band aid.
Great Product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This epoxy is an amazing product to use when you need to repair or plug a hole that will be in contact with water. I have used this product in the bathroom and outside. It holds strong! I would recommend this product as it really gets the job done.

I have a residential leaking copper pipe with a small fishmouth leak opening. I have been applying layer upon layer. I wait 24 hours. I still end up having a leak at the edges of the layer last applied layer. I think I am following the directions. Not sure this stuff really works. Maybe for low pressure applications its fine. This sure has caused me a lot of grief.

Used this to try and stop a leak where a hose comes in to our portable hot water heater. Used the marine epoxy first, didn’t fix it, added 3 layers of the puddy, still leaks!!! So annoyed.
