In the product description, it said that the Misty Rose item was a backpack, but there was no clear indication that it was actually just an accessory for a backpack. I ordered this for my daughter’s first day of school, and now I have less than a week to receive the correct item — the 16-inch adaptive backpack. I’ve always trusted Target for the quality of its products and the accuracy of deliveries, but I was really disappointed this time.
"Okay, why a third Adaptive Series Backpack?!"

My first Adaptive Series Backpack carries my medical necessities (a long day away from home). My second hangs on the back of my power wheelchair 'full-time'. A few cheap raincoats, a bottle of water, and the unused space often carry "it" home from a grocery item to something from Tractor Supply. I just bought my third JanSport Adaptive Series Backpack; tough zippers, quality materials, "Handy", and On Sale! Seriously, these backpacks stay-put on your wheelchair, far exceeding ANY other wheelchair storage/ carry arrangement out there, including the Quickie backpack, Permobil's 'Box' that flops around with minimal storage space, and any SpinLife "idea" of what truly suits all wheelchair users.
This never comes as the backpack

Only giving one star, because you do not get the backpack, but the crossbody adaptive satchel. (Which is great, btw, just not what I ordered) The backpack (which I ended up having to order from Amazon after multiple tries is actually really nice. There are lots of ways to attach to my daughters wheelchair and she loves it

My Cross-Body JanSport hangs in my room, and it's full of acoustic guitar necessities (new strings, picks, capo, set-up tools, string changing tools, fingerboard conditioner, etc.). Previously, I purchased a three-pocket personal carryall with a shoulder strap and leather accents to hold cards, money, cell phone, Kleenex, and keys. The JanSport CrossBody bag was an unregrettable try at something else. I love my JanSport bags and feel confident that the heavy-duty zippers, excellent workmanship, and materials will exceed my demands. The Adaptive Backpacks (looking at a third) I have to use on my power wheelchair are far better than others I've used over the last four decades. The expensive, large backrest 'box' provided with my latest power wheelchair will likely not see the light of day after my first JanSport Adaptive Series Backpack replaced it!

I have two Adaptive JanSport backpacks. One carries everything to handle my needs on an all-day adventure. My other Adaptive JanSport backpack is a daily companion that significantly enhances my ability to hold a hoodie and light grocery loads. Both bags handle weight loads that others have failed to. I worry about the wheelchair backrest's ability to hold up, but everything about JanSport products is top-tier construction. Tough zippers shred the Quickie Backpacks, Permobil Storage containers, and other brands for a fraction of the cost. I will buy another while on sale shortly. Thank you, JanSport!

I opted for the matching hard-shell backpack, but found it awkward, unstructured, and too small. Love my JanSport adaptive (wheelchair) backpacks; they're on SALE, again; "aahhh!" GIMME!

I got my first assistive crossbody as a donation at a camp I was at. I loved it so much that I got a new one to match my new wheelchair. I love that jansport has made an adaptive bag that is actually attractive and comes in different patterns - something other than black. It doesn't look "medical" at all and has many different ways that it could secure to a wheelchair. I use it hanging underneath my seat and it is very sturdy, doesn't bang around or get caught up in the wheels. Also fairly high quality, my old one I unzipped 3-4x daily for about a year with no issues. I expect this one will last just as long or more.

I have the Jansport smaller bag with three pockets and leather accents (zippers and bottom) and kinda tired of some issues experienced with my disability. I opted for this adaptive larger bag and believe I'll find an easier way to carry my cards, money, Sak, writing, and typing devices. Directions may exclusively be found in fine print on the small carry-along directions but glasses didn't share those secrets yet; better light may do the trick, however. I settled on the green, the artist in me said no to black while my age can't identify with the offered patterns to date. The zippers are forever as is the material but the wider shoulder strap will get replaced. I am elated to find an adaptive Backpack, and this new buddy to help haul my things instead of decades of costly advertising 'bags' that identify my choice of wheelchairs! Hooray, Jansport!

I'm chronically ill, so I have to carry a bunch of crap on my person at all times to manage symptoms. I'm able to fit my medications, phone, handheld heart monitor, pens and markers, multiple snacks, phone, wallet, etc. with room to spare. I really appreciate that this has a shoulder strap AND straps for my rollator, so I don't have to transfer my stuff in and out of different bags, which causes me to misplaced important things like medical equipment. The adaptive straps are generally just great for keeping the bag accessible in a lot of situations, I wish I had had a bag like this when I used to cycle a lot. I got the Mia Brown Mint Julep pattern and I've gotten a lot of compliments. My main issue with this bag is that I feel the lack of pockets on the inside of the bag make it difficult to use the space efficiently, I can fit all my stuff inside but it's hard to organise it all so it can be really hard to find things in this bag. I also wish the shoulder strap wasn't so scratchy, but it comes off so I'm probably just going to replace it with a better strap. Would love to see more like this from JanSport.

I use this for college classes on a daily basis as a wheelchair user and thanks to it I can navigate campus independently. It's not ideal if you can't have your bag on the back of your chair--I don't use the product as advertised in that sense--and it's slightly too small--enough that I couldn't pack a lunch and my coat simultaneously... however it's the only bag that has come close to perfect though thanks to the sheer variety of straps that enable experimentation with how to individualize it, and it has withstood countless drops.
Perfect for my needs.

The hardshell bp I got with a new PWC is very nice. The bp made by JanSport holds everything I need; this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Really. Tough, quality zippers, big, water poc..

Love the concept, the fact that the design is by an artist with a disability, and that it's easily attached to a wheelchair. Suggested improvements: Make it a wee bigger! Individuals with disabilities often have additional supplies they may need to carry. I would love a bit more capacity. I would love quick release buckles on the many straps and attachers rather than slide buckles. These are much harder to manipulate.

I've had this bag since October of last year and I really like it. It's become my go to bag when I'm out and about and I've used it on a few work trips. It fits snacks, my meds, any other bits and bobs I might need, and even fits my water bottle. I wish the connector straps were a bit longer as they're almost too short to fit under my wheelchair. Other than that it's been great and if I don't want to put it under my wheelchair it works great as a crossbody bag too.

If you needed evidence that this bag holds up to creature like activities, this is for you. Whether you're out collecting nuts and berries, hailing glowing clouds or are a cryptid with a crow brain and the need to carry tools. This bag will do just about everything. I'm a self taught jack of all trades partially because of having a case of the spicy brain. But "minikit" as I call it holds everything I need for the scavenging of part yards and similar. I totally recommend it

My 10 y/o son has a power wheelchair and this attaches well. It is easy to get on and off. It doesn't look like it would be super roomy but it is. Very durable, going to last a long long time.
