Description
Jarrow Formulas' MK-7 is made from fermentation by Bacillus subtilus natto. MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is an enhanced bioactive form of vitamin K2, also known as menaquinone. MK-7 from natto is much better absorbed than K1 from spinach. MK-7 is responsible for the carboxylation of specific bone proteins needed for building bone and helps the body properly utilize calcium. MK-7 also promotes cardiovascular health.

Until I have my next bone scan I won’t know if taking Vitamin K, MK-7 is making a difference in my bone density. However, as an elderly person my skin has been bruising very easily. I’ve noticed that the bruising isn’t as bad lately so am thinking that the Vitamin K MK-7 may be helping this condition. Time will tell but I’m sticking with Jarrow as I am noticing the skin difference.

best deal , even better than house brand
With many supplements I will buy the Swanson brand., but there are somethings Swanson hasn't yet matched in quality . In the case of MK-7 , I believe Jarrow beats the house brand in quality and price . I also find this form of k-2 to be superior to other available forms , I will usually avoid anything derived from soy, this stuff is an exception.My understanding is that without supplementation this is one substance our modern society is greatly lacking, My interest in this stuff was greatly influence by the work of Weston Price.

A good K2 MK7 product
I wish I knew which is really better - 90 mcg or 200 mcg in K2 MK 7. This one is 90 mcg and I have also used Swanson 200 mcg products. Sometimes Swanson has a BOGO so I go for that. K2 is not a product I expect to notice what it does. It is more subtle than that.

Prudent product to take
This is not a "will notice the difference" product, but, it is a peace of mind product. More and more research shows MK-7 to be necessary for correct absorbtion of calcium.

Essencial vitamin
Vit K2 is important to heart, bone and overall health. Jarrow's MK-7 is a good product and fits my need. Only one 90mcg is all that is needed....small dose but packs a punch.

I believe most people that aren't health nuts should be taking some type of K2 vitamin. This brand is made with the right stuff, is cheap, and very easy to use. I'm a repeat buyer on this one.

Vitamin K for my bones
Since I am taking a lot of bone building supplements, I read in several books that I should add Vitamin K to help that calcium ends up in my bones and not in my arteries. From my research, this K is the right amount for me and I am hoping it continues to strengthen my bones.

Good K product, good price
Arrived faster than predicted, I like supplements with as little extra stuff in it as possible. This supports my bone stability and I use it daily. Price is good, although my body deserves the best so I don't consider price a key factor in selection.
