Unexpected flavor
The taste was unexpected but not in a good way. Tastes like coffee liquor - like a tiramisu flavor vs what I would expect for a Java Chip. We have liked other flavors of Target Favorite Day ice creams but will not be getting this one again.

Heed the cautions! Nail Polish Remover.... yum.
I saw the bad reviews and still gave it a try because "it can't be THAT bad...." no, it literally does taste like nail polish remover. Bad enough for me to take a couple bites and toss the rest. Really horrible. Do not recommend.

Chemical taste (almost like liquor). We threw it out. Read the ingredients, fake choco chips! Highly disappointed and even worried about what I ingested. And WHAT EXACTLY is "bioengineered"? Disgusting! 🤢
