Java chunk now makes me want to puke!
They changed the recipe! This was the best ice cream before (taste like the Starbucks Java chip ice cream they used to sell in stores) Now it has a fake chemical taste. Bring back the old recipe!! I’ll be doing a TikTok this week Nchotmomboss

Not the type of person to read reviews prior to purchasing things so this is 100% not biased. I absolutely LOVE any kind of Java Chip or coffee tasting ice cream. During a quick grocery shop trip I spotted this and knew I had to purchase. My first bite I had a metallic taste but I genuinely thought it was in my head. When I went in for another bite it definitely was metallic. Would not recommend. Had to throw out.

Ate this ice cream every week for years when I discovered it. When they repackaged favorite day, they altered the recipe as well and it tastes awful now. I bought two cartons thinking it was just in my head, but they were both so bad. Very disappointed. Please go back to the old recipe.

This was my wife's favorite ice cream, and the few times she shared it with me, I enjoyed it, too. But I can confirm the flavor change in late 2025 is real. She can't eat it anymore, so I am stuck finishing off our carton. In my opinion, it tastes like chocolatey dish soap. No one should buy this, period.

A favorite flavor for sure!
I was so surprised by the rating for this ice cream that I felt compelled to post a review. We love a chocolate mocha flavor and, for the money, this one is delicious! I find it doesn’t take much to satisfy my sweet tooth. This flavor and brand goes over great in our home.
