Great speaker, great gift
I purchased this gift for a ten-year-old boy and it was perfect. It was a last minute Christmas idea, so we got the black one because that color was available near us. (We have the blue one in a similar version and love that color.) JBL speakers can't be beat based on the quality for the price. We gifted this to a friend who will be walking home from school so he can hang it on his backpack and listen to music. It's so compact that it will also make the perfect addition to his electric scooter this summer to ride around the neighborhood and play some tunes. JBL for the win. It was a hit!

Great all-rounder for the go
Super easy to setup and connect as well as switching between devices. Audio quality is fantastic, amazing range between max and min volumes. Obviously the lower bass frequencies aren't super boomy, but there's only so much that you can do with a speaker this size haha. The build quality feels very premium especially at this price point. I'd never even come close to worrying about either the stitching or the loop breaking.
