Also, if your TV supports Bluetooth 5.3 and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), then you can connect your Flex 2nd Gen to it.

A: No - the SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen speaker will only link up with Bose Bluetooth speakers that have a Shortcut button. At the time of writing, these are the SoundLink Max speaker and SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen speaker.

I was looking for a wireless speaker to use on my motorcycle. I’m a huge Bose fan so ordered this Flex speaker. I was amazed by the HUGE sound this little speaker puts out! Deep base, and clear mid and high range. It will certainly overcome wind noise at highway speeds! Very impressive unit. I may buy a second to pair up at home!

Overall this is a great little speaker. For its size and weight it produces very good sound quality and has good battery life. As some have indicated, the app could have an equalizer with more channels but not a big deal. One area I think could be improved is the markings and feel of the switches. A better tactile response would be good and more clearly marked switches would be great. Not a show stopper by any means. If I were looking to buy another speaker of this size I would not hesitate to buy another SoundLink Flex. Bose always comes through with superior sound quality. Keep in mind this unit is not designed to fill a concert hall with perfect sound. It is a compact, affordable, personal speaker.

I purchased this speaker new, and it was always kept in prestine conditions, not even taken outdoors. One day the battery just quit. It won't even play while plugged in. I followed all the trouble shooting tips and nothing works. The speaker itself is awesome, bar none. But I'm left disappointed that the Bose warranty is only 1 year and after that they will only give you a slight discount, even for such a major failure as this. Like Apple will offer to replace your battery for a reasonable price. But not Bose. So I'm just not sure I would purchase again if the major component of the unit can fail and Bose won't offer fair support.

Hi there, It is great that you find the speaker awesome. It is odd that the battery would stop working so suddenly. Please try connecting the speaker to power for 15 minutes and leaving it to charge, then after 15 minutes try powering it on. If the battery has been completely depleted it can take that 15 minutes to give the battery sufficient charge to power on.
