Q: Can I use this is the shower or pool?
A: Hi Amanda, thanks for reaching out about JLab Pop Party Portable Speaker. The JLab Pop Party Portable Speaker has an IPX5 water-resistant rating. What this means: -IPX5 water resistance means the speaker is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. -It can handle splashes and light rain, making it suitable for outdoor use where it might get wet. However, this does NOT mean it can be fully submerged in water. Therefore: -You can use the JLab Pop Party speaker in the shower, but you should be careful to avoid prolonged exposure to direct streams of water. -You should not use the JLab Pop Party speaker in a pool as it's not designed to be submerged.
