  • A: Bose does not publish these specifications. The reason for this is that we believe such statistics do not add very much to an understanding of an audio product's acoustic characteristics and, even worse, can be misleading. Audio manufacturers make these measurements independent of industry standards, and in varying conditions. Additionally, a single statistic is not a reliable measurement of a product's performance. One could, for instance, find a very expensive system with exactly the same specifications as a much less expensive system. On paper, the two would appear identical. The difference in performance, however, would be significant. A better approach, we feel, is to listen to the product. We strongly urge you to make your own comparisons. Bose systems will surpass your expectations.

    Lots of great sounds

    Purchased this as a gift for my daughter. Still in the box, but I purchased the same thing for myself and that's what encouraged me to purchase for my daughter. Great sound from such a tiny package. Love it!

    Great sound, easy setup — but the app could do mor

    The SoundLink Plus works really well and pairing is quick and painless right out of the box. Sound quality is solid and it's been reliable day to day. Two things I'd love to see improved, both on the app side. First, pairing to a soundbar through the app is possible in theory but doesn't work well in practice — I tried and couldn't get a stable connection. Second, when running speakers in party mode, there's no way to adjust each speaker's volume individually from the app. Being able to balance them separately would make a big difference for filling a room evenly. Overall a good speaker that does the core job nicely. A couple of app updates would take it from good to excellent.

    Quality

    I bought the soundlink plus for the summer 2026 sale. It was an absolute steal for the sound quality. I love the heft and weight of this speaker too. It tells you it’s made with quality materials and made to last. I am very pleased with the balance and thumpy bass for modestly sized speaker and plan to purchase another to pair with!

    Fabulous sound. I love the colours available. My home is full of Bose it’s the best as far as I am concerned. Not sure about the little handle but it doesn’t detract from a great piece of kit

    Great Sounds but a couple of physical drawbacks.

    Generally pleased with the quality of sound and the look of the speaker. Heaviness detracts from portability. Speaker leaves marks on polished wood surfaces which have proved difficult to remove. I am mystified as to why the unit leaves these marks and would appreciate to hear from Bose as to a solution.

    I’m very happy with my purchase, I love the design and the colour, very thoughtful choice. It brings old fashion vibes and a bit weighty, its exactly what I need,I can take with me outside when gardening or at the beach , anywhere you like to hear good music.its not a cheap purchase but I get over it this time, I totally recommend it ❤️

    Love the speaker, it is an upgrade for my Bose mini sound link which I bought so many years ago. The colour is amazing in blue, very portable and the sound is very natural, love it!

    Sound is magnificent

    My Amazon Alexa was not the answer to my music listening prayers so I decided to go for a Bose speaker since I love my Bose AirPods. This product did not disappoint at all. Outstanding sound in a small package and a cool color for the summer. Definitely excited and thinking about buying the little one for our cottage on Cape Cod.

    Cumbersome!!!

    I loved the mini sound link, and replaced the first one after it failed. Then the second one gave up the ghost, and I discovered the model was discontinued. I ordered this item because the Bose radios I have are great (though I have less success trying to play CD's on them). But to this speaker. It is REALLY heavy!! And bulky. The sound is very good, but I used the mini sound link all over the house, and I simply don't consider this very portable, due to the bulk and the weight. This isn't an equivalent replacement for the mini, and I wish they had not discontinued it. And this speaker is pricey. If I played a lot of music I might order a few for various rooms (if I wanted to spend my money that way) because the sound is fine, but I am more podcast and book streaming oriented, and I just don't need that kind of sound quality for the spoken voice. (Bose asked for a review, by the way.)

    Nice but not

    So far so good as sound and bass . Only problem is connection on Bluetooth with my iPad to Bose speaker. It kept cutting off . I’ve been updating my Bose portable speaker . Still the same and even followed some tips to removed any other speakers attach to my iPad which is also Bose speakers ( soundlink, portable , quiet comforts) .
