Q: The specs state operating systems compatability to android and iOS but I need to connect by bluetooth to my laptop, which is on a Windows 10. Can this device connect to my laptop?
A: NO, this speaker will not work with MacBook air or Windows PC. I've been on tech support at Bose for hours and it will not pair because there is no app to download for those.

The speaker is able to connect to bluetooth devices to play audio but does not have a CD player. Q: What is the difference with between this Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth Speaker, and the Bose® SoundLink Color Wireless Bluetooth Speaker II
A: Hello, both speakers are from the SoundLink speaker range, but offer varying features. The SoundLink Color II can provide up to 8 hours of wireless playback, while the Micro can provide up to 6. The Color II features two speakers, and the Micro features one. The Micro is IP67 rated, and the Color is rated IPX4. A full comparison can be found at https://bose.life/3sTepBF, thank you.

submitted bydoug - 2 years agoA: Thank you for your interest in the SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker, Jean! You can absolutely connect an Amazon Echo or Echo Dot to the Micro via Bluetooth. The communication between the devices can be set up in the Amazon Alexa app. The Micro is one of my favorite speakers, and the bass is incredible for its size. Hope this helps! Jesse - Bose Support

Q: Hello, I still have working iPod shuffles but they are not bluetooth. Does this speaker have a USB port (I think that's what they are called). If not this one, do you recommend one?
A: The SoundLink Micro's USB port is only used for charging and software updates. Since the SoundLink Micro doesn't have an AUX input for plugging a cable in, we'd recommend taking a look at our newest range of portable SoundLink speakers, some of which do allow you to plug a cable in. An example would be the SoundLink Max, which has a 3.5mm AUX input.
