Well, howdy
Initially disappointed until I got a chance to run this thing a while and found the sweet spot between settings and room placement ... Wow, I love it. Small spaces and low volume do it no justice. It does like to stretch "stretch it's legs" a bit. Definitely more suited for an afternoon/evening of cleaning up garage than a small bedroom office.

I bought this on the spur of the moment. Glad I did. Got it in the orange and it looks great. The sound quality from speaker is amazing. I turned it way up and it sounded clear and no distortion in normal or ULT setting.

A wonderful piece of kit!
I took delivery of my new Sony speaker at the weekend and it was love at first listen!! Since then I’ve played it more or less non-stop, heard all my old favourites and explored new music, amazed at the clarity and depth of tone from such a small speaker!

Best portable speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Sony Speaker Ult 1 for awhile now and it is a great portable bluetooth speaker for everyday use. The first thing that stands out is the bass. Pressing the dedicated ULT button gives music a noticeable low-end boost making genres like hip hop sound much more energetic. Don’t let the size of the speaker fool you because it delivers a powerful sound. The speaker feels very durable and the material used is very sleek. I recommend this speaker.

I love to blast music in my room when I want good sound quality or if I have friends and family over. It’s very easy to use, connected easily, and keeps a charge for awhile, depending on how often you use it. Definitely a great speaker to have!

New daily speaker driver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this speaker for the past couple weeks, and every time i go out fishing or working outside it’s strapped to me or my boat. the bass blows my old jbl out of the water in terms of clarity. i love the portability aswell it’s fairly light and the straps come in handy every time i need to hang her up on the fence or my boat. i really just love how easy and simple of a device it is. i click one button and immediately she’s ready to go and connected. i don’t have to worry about battery as it carry’s the same characteristics from the ULT headphone lineup, you plug it in for 10 minutes and it’s already halfway full. from trap to house jazz to pluggnb, the speaker simply slaps. it’s really incomparable to anything else in its league right now, and i will be getting the bigger versions of it soon.

Small speaker, big personality and one button that can turn a quiet afternoon into a mini party
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t expect to get attacked to a Bluetooth speaker, but Sony ULT Field 1 managed to pull it off. First impressions were very positive. The speaker is compact, lightweight and comes with a carrying strap that honestly looks like it borrowed its design from a pair of sneakers. It’s a fun little detail that makes the speaker feel more casual and portable. Mine is the Off White version. To be honest, I expected it to be a bit whiter. In daylight, it looks more gray than white, but the iridescent Sony logo adds a nice touch and catches the light beautifully. Overall, the design is clean and minimalistic. Nothing feels unnecessary, and every button is exactly where it should be. That said, the light-colored fabric comes with a downside. After just one outdoor adventure, nature decided to leave its autograph on the mesh. Dirt and stains are definitely more visible on this color, so if you’re planning to use it mostly outside, a darker version might be the safer choice. Now let’s talk about sound. Without the ULT button, the sound is pleasant, balanced, and smooth. It’s perfect for podcasts, background music or a relaxing afternoon. But press the ULT button, and suddenly your ordinary Tuesday starts acting like it was invited to a backyard barbecue. The bass becomes fuller, the music feels more energetic and the whole listening experience gets a lot more fun. What impressed me most is how clean and powerful the sound remains despite speaker’s small size. It genuinely sounds bigger than it looks. Vocals stay clear, instruments are easy to distinguish and the extra bass doesn’t completely take over the mix. Battery life has also been excellent. I’ve consistently gotten around 10-12 hours of use, which is more than enough for a full day at the park, by the pool or just moving from room to room while pretending I’m being productive.

Loud, durable, easy to take with you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve gone through some portable speakers in my time, and this may be the best. The sound quality is clear at both high and low volumes. We love the rope and use it to hang on the tree, wagon, or lawn chair. The square shape is nice because you can lay it on a surface and it won’t roll like some round designs. This has also taken a few tumbles and weathered all of them. This is a great speaker that will stay around for quite some time.

It would fit in a beach bag perfectly. So far I have used it to play music while cooking and playing in the pool with my son. I can’t wait to use it all summer in the backyard listening to 90s country and pop. I would definitely recommend this speaker.

The sound quality is powerful clear and base heavy without sounding muddy. The ULT base feature makes a huge difference, especially for hip-hop R&B and upbeat music. It gives that deep immersive sound that feels much bigger than the speaker itself. Also, the battery life has been great so far and I love that it’s waterproof and durable enough to take outside or to travel with pairing the speaker with the Bluetooth on my smart phone was quick and easy and the overall design feels sleek and premium.

Best speaker around by far

The battery lasts forever it feels like and when it does die and needs to be charged it feels like it charges fast, the sound is amazing and gets pretty loud and very crispy audio, I love this speaker.
