Awesome do it all speaker that BUMPS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with this beast of a speaker! I used it for a party on a lake and it was more than loud enough without sacrificing sound quality and I didn't have to worry about the water since it's spill and splash proof. Using it inside is insane, shakes the walls when you want it too, really like the bass boost feature as well. The lights are always a very cool addition to the experience but you can also turn them off if needed. I like the ability to use multiple JBL speakers together with Auracast to really amp up the party. The quick 10 minute charge to get back to jamming is awesome and having the ability to switch out batteries is a complete game changer. Also having the ability to hook up a guitar or microphone really just turns it into a do it all type of speaker. Love it!

Best Bluetooth speaker I have ever had!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly couldn’t be happier with the JBL party box 130. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the sound quality. The base is deep and powerful without overpowering the vocals, and the high state Crisp even a higher volumes. We love using it for pool parties at our neighbors, it’s the only thing I’m requested to bring. The battery life has been excellent lasting through long days of the pool without needing to recharge. The built-in light show is a fun bonus that really adds to the atmosphere without feeling over the top. For how big the speaker is, it surprisingly lightweight. If you’re ever on the fence about a speaker like this, don’t be. It delivers premium sound, great battery, life, and plenty of volume for parties, cookout tailgates or pool days. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for high-quality portable speaker. Five stars all the way!

A hefy speaker with sound to match
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable Bluetooth speaker is hefy and the sound to go along with it. The sound quality really packs a punch. It's at least 25 or 30lbs but has a built-in handle. It has a control knob and buttons on the top and 2 panels on the back. One opens to reveal different inputs for mics, a guitar and more. The other contains the rechargeable battery that can swapped and power it for hours. I really like how it looks too. The built-in light show is great at night. I like to use it on my back balcony. It can also be connected to other partyboxes with Auracast. It's just a great speaker.

Perfect for tailgating
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This PartyBox is flat out awesome! We have used it multiple times for tailgating. It connects easily and plays crystal clear music. The volume is easily adjusted on the box or cell phone. The wireless microphone we have connects easily and is a nice addition.

Top summer must have
I bought this partybox cause I love summer BBQs. I have to say that the moment you handle this speaker, it’s immediately obvious that the materials are premium grade. On the back, the splashproof flap hides a seriously complete set of ports, including guitar and mic inputs, USB-C, Aux, and even an optical input (it makes you ideal and useful for an indoor usage). But the real stroke of design genius is the tiny LED light right above the ports, which illuminates the panel in the dark so you can plug in cables during a party without having to fumble around with your phone’s flashlight. The speaker is clearly built for outdoor summer bashes so portability is a big factor; the carrying handle is incredibly sturdy, and there is a pole mount underneath to pop it onto a standard DJ tripod, which is great for elevating the sound and spreading it better. Audio-wise, the power is massive and the sound clarity is brilliant, with zero distortion even at very high volumes. Through the official app, you can fine-tune the EQ, boost the bass, and tweak the front light effects, even changing the Brightness of the lamps which sync to the rhythm much more smoothly than the brand's previous versions. I also really appreciate the removable battery, an excellent touch for long-term durability. It’s a bit of an investment, but you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend.

Great quality speaker
The speaker is great; the sound quality and clarity, as well as the lighting effects, are top-notch. The bass is very deep—you can feel it radiating through your body. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. It's quite heavy, but that kind of power has to fit somewhere.

This thing is worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL speaker has truly surpassed my expectations. The sound quality is exceptional—vocals are crystal clear, the highs are crisp, and the bass delivers a powerful punch that feels much larger than what you’d expect from a portable speaker. It’s loud enough to fill an entire backyard or pool area without any distortion, making it ideal for parties, outdoor relaxation, or simply enjoying music throughout the day. Battery life is another standout feature. I can use it for extended periods without worrying about frequent recharging, which is precisely what a portable speaker should offer. It’s also lightweight, easy to carry, and feels sturdy enough to withstand regular outdoor use. Connectivity has been hassle-free, and once paired, it seamlessly integrates into your setup. The visual design is another highlight. It’s sleek, modern, and fun, with lights that create the perfect ambiance—especially by the pool at night—without being over the top. Overall, the combination of excellent sound, long battery life, portability, appealing design, and strong value makes this one of the best speakers I’ve ever owned. It’s become my go-to poolside companion, and I highly recommend it.

Perfect portable party speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Partybox speaker, and clearly the best of the class! I love the new features like the removable and replaceable battery. The sound is so good at any volume level, crisp and clean, but the signature JBL bass is right there too. Works great with JBL Partybox microphones for your favorite sign along. This is my new morning coffee companion, but I can't wait to take it to the beach. With the guitar input and separate volume control in the app, this would be perfect for small music venues.

The Ultimate Speaker for BBQs and Get-Togethers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I've been taking it to family get togethers and one of the things everyone comments is how clear it sounds, bass is well balanced and it's not too heavy to carry around. Taking this outside for BBQs is great the volume is loud and keeps everything clear and let me tell you, it gets loud. The new controls on this are easy to navigate and easy to understand and I love that it has an optical port and you can now connect it to a tv. Does anyone have an outdoor tv? I can definitely see someone who DJ's using these for their setup. You can buy a separate stand and attach it on the bottom and you can connect microphones just like some other JBL speakers. All I can say is I loved it, my family loved it and I definitely recommend this speaker.

Despite being the smallest of the party box range this speaker outputs room-filling sound at a very high quality. The speaker also has a long battery life and charges very quickly. Overall im very happy with my purchase!

Great for Parties that are large or small!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great party speaker that is easy to move around or just use as an everyday speaker. The speaker itself is a little heavy so it’s not something I would want to carry around but if you are going to be stationary for it works perfectly! Once I got the speaker unpacked I connected to my iPhone and loaded up the JBL one app. The app found the speaker and did a quick update to the firmware. Within the app you can adjust the lighting affects or even turn them off. You also have EQ options along with a bass boost option. There is even MIC settings and guitar settings, I was only able to test out a microphone but that worked perfectly and I was able to easily make any adjustments through the app. With JBL products you have the option to connect multiple speakers together for additional sound. I was unable to try this feature since I only have the one speaker, but the reviews I saw online make this a great option if you plant to utilize a few of these for larger parties. JBL did include a standard cord for charging and it took only an hour or two to be fully charged. The top of the speaker has buttons for power, menu, bluetooth, bass boost, and the JBL party together (connecting more speakers together). The volume control also has a built in screen for the menu items which include the guitar, microphones, battery, or lighting affects. They are easy to use and nicely laid out. The back of the speaker includes a splash proof cover for the charging port, removable battery pack and the additional inputs. The additional inputs include two microphone inputs one doubles for guitar hookup, an optical input, AUX in, daisy chain for speakers and USB-c. Within the JBL one app you can adjust what the USB C port is used for: JBL easysing Mics, UAC music streaming and recording, USB drive recording, and USB drive playback and charging out. JBL really went above and beyond to give you lots of different options for the USB port instead of just connecting your phone to charge or play music. We were able to use this at our neighborhood block party. This speaker provided enough sound for everyone to be able to hear the music. Many committed at how great it sounded and how it filled the street with music, but that it wasn’t overwhelming and people where still able to talk without the music drowning everything out. We even got a noise complaint that it was too loud, however it was getting late at night and our neighborhood is very quiet. The battery lasted about 5.5 hours, but still had about 35% charge left so it lasted a very long time. This was with the lights, bass boost, and volume at about 75%, we did not try to conserve power at all and I was really happy at how long it lasted. The lights are great, but the sound is fantastic on this party box. Everything sounds crystal clear with deep bass that can shake a room. I like that JBL included inputs so you can directly connect this to a TV if you wanted. This speaker is everything I wanted from a party box speaker. It’s loud and powerful, but still produces great sound quality, and it’s easy to move around with the included handle. I would not recommend this speaker if you plan to carry it around a lot for use as it can get heavy. If you are on the go a lot I would look for a smaller speaker or the next size down from this one. This speaker is more bring it to the place you want to use it and you leave it for a few hours and then pack it up and go. Overall Im extremely impressed with all aspects of this speaker and it really is a joy to use. I started to use it now in the garage, hanging out in the back yard, or just inside the house when cleaning. The next party we have this speaker will be front and center as it’s perfect for that intended use.

Your party on the go must have.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL has done it again! This portable bluetooth speaker is great. Not only is it easy to use and carry but it also delivers great sound. I love listening to reggae music with rich bass from this speaker while sitting on my back patio. Controlling the speaker from the app is a welcoming plus.

A universal powerhouse - loud, long battery, great sound, super-portable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome! I cant believe this is like the second smallest of the JBL part boxes because it is pretty big! It puts out awesome and loud sound and the lights are really cool. I really like that you can use the JBL ONE app to pick a light profile and found the campfire one to be particularly cool. I also really appreciate that it has a removable/replaceable battery as it saves you from having to replace it just because the battery goes bad, but also then we dont make as much trash throwing things away too early. It has two mic or guitar inputs which is really cool, and it can even play music off of a USB drive it also has post holes on the bottom for you to use as DJ speakers and can be wired or tirelessly daisy chained together. Really feels like JBL thought of everything! I will say though thay the JBL ONE app can be quite glitch and had some issues that fixed with a re-install but should not have had to.

One of Harman’s JBL loudest. Not for Apartments or for Condo Spaces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very heavy speaker with Bluetooth 6.0, Harman/JBL-Engineered Bassport, AT LEAST 2 Transducers (maybe with a small tweeter), approximately a 35Hz-20kHz range, *faithful JBL Signature Sound*, IPX4 Water Resistance (don’t immerse the product in water!), and covers that prevent all the female connectors from dust, water, and moisture. Be fragile with this product because the heft is not shock-proof. If you are a party-goer and if you don’t live in an Apartment or a Condo Space, then this speaker is for you even though this can be one of Harman’s pricier JBL Bluetooth speaker. However, with a TOSLink Connnector and many connectors, you can also do some Karaoke to a certain extent. This could also be suitable for amateur artists too. You just need to protect the bass ports from dust and moisture to enjoy a high wattage of JBL Signature Audio. Take care of this product and this party-style speaker will serve you WONDERS.

Get This Party Started—Use the big turn knob in the middle top part of the speaker to easily turn on and off and control the sound and lights.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This high-powered speaker gets the party started. Size—It is a medium to large size party-box that delivers bass boom and pulsing light displays. It is easy to control using your phone with the recommended apps. Value—The audio and visual controls are intuitive. The cost is on par with the expense of a quality PA speaker. This product holds value with the easy to use features and convenient handling. Connectivity—It offers a battery compartment which houses a replaceable battery and it comes with an optional-use five-foot power cord. Portability—The weight is manageable with the grab-and-go handle. Noise—You can turn on this party box and jam as loudly as you can. I love the sonic integrity of this product and the digital and analog sound controls. It comes with impressive distortion-free headroom and decibel levels.
