I bought this headphone thingy. It would be halfway decent cuz it's a JBL but now I'm angry because I got the worst Mike I've ever bought. The microphone did not actually have any good quality in it. I was very disappointed in everything. It just did not work at all. It was fuzzy. I was not able to hear myself and when I did hear myself it was all echoy fuzzy. The headset quality is fine. The mic quality is terrible. Do not buy this for the mic one star.

The sound quality is pretty great and the bass is for sure there. I like that they're wired so there's no worrying about them dying.

They plug in using the audio Jack outlet. They also worked with my Samsung phone for phone calls and the audio was very clear.

It has good deep bass and clear highs, making them ideal gaming on any console. I use them for all my games on my XBox One and plugging them into my controller offers an easy alternative to Bluetooth or wireless. With JBL’s signature audio technology, the sound quality remains consistent whether you’re playing in a room alone or in a room full of people playing different games or watching tv. Increasing the power input to the headphones would make it more impactful. Although I do like how you can unplug the mic it would be great to have an easier option for one and off. I do like the other models that offer the flip up to cut off feature but totally understand for the money this option is perfectly fine.

The only downside is the lenght of the cable. I think it could be longer. I have a standing desk and when i used it thw cable wasny long enough.

My first impression of it was that the build quality was not as great as other JBL headphones I have. It is very lightweight and the plastic makes it feel of lesser quality. The ear pads are cushioned very nicely so you can use it for longer periods of time and not feel fatigue, but their connection to the headband doesn't feel quite strong to me. When I shake it, it feels like it will pop off. Overall, the sound quality is very good thanks to Signature JBL sound. For a sometimes gamer, this would be great to use!

Super clear voice and just the right amount of bass. All around great headset for the price point. A super good set for telephone calls and online conversations. Cuts out a lil on Xbox chats, but flawless for PS5 and PS4 both. Nothing really works well with Xbox, that being said. I would say these are a great set for backups when your rechargeable set needs to charge. Also perfect set for students to learn on computer, the voice is super clear. My kids aren't saying they can't hear all the time like with the class issued set. JBL needs a grant to get these to every classroom nationwide. Better hearing means better understanding, these would help so many students

A microphone is necessary but not all the time. After shopping around I got these. They have a volume control and the microphone Is removable or can just be switched off. They’re lighter than they look and very comfortable. Plus as you’d expect from JBL, they sound fantastic. They have all the qualities I need. I highly recommend these headphones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quantum 100M2 headset, intended for gaming, has a lot going for it. Packaging was easy to open, and the headset was secure and safe in it's box. It comes with a minimal, but clear instruction sheet, although, the print could have been a little larger. The only setup that is needed is to attach the boom mic and install the wind screen. The mic has a mini plug that connects to a jack at the bottom of the left ear cup. Because the jack is recessed, you need to take care that the plug is aligned properly to insert it (not difficult - just pay attn). I do wish you could attach the boom mic on either ear cup - I generally prefer the mic on the right side of my headset. Sound quality is good and there are controls for volume and mute also on the left ear cup. These controls are simple and intuitive to use. The headset is VERY light, which makes it ideal for long sessions. And the ear cups are pretty large - they covered my ears completely which helps block the outside sounds. The caveats I mentioned above are minor, so overall, I would recommend this headset for serious gamers.

While they don’t have all the bells and whistles of a higher end (wireless) pair of headphones, I’m happy to offset that by how incredibly lightweight and comfortable these are. I can easily wear them all day. The detachable microphone is a nice touch, but honestly I can’t see myself removing it because it seems like something that I’ll easily lose. My only wish for these headphones was a mute button on the cord. There’s a mic mute button on the headset, but with a quick feel it’s hard to tell if it’s pressed down or not. When I’m in a panic, double guessing if I remembered to mute my mic, I would prefer to quickly see an on/off button or some light. But that’s my only small gripe. Overall it’s a great, everyday headset. With the standard amazing sound and vice quality you would expect from JBL.
