Q: Can you buckle only around the waist without buckling the shoulder straps?
A: Thank you for your question. To ensure the safety of your child in the Jeep Altitude Compact Travel Stroller, we recommend following these steps to properly secure them: Place your child in the stroller and position the crotch belt between their legs. Pull the shoulder straps over your child’s arms and shoulders, then fasten both strap ends to the restraint system. Secure the waist belts by fastening them to the buckle on each side of the crotch belt. You should hear a ‘click’ on both sides. Finally, check the restraint system by gently pulling it away from your child to ensure it remains securely attached. We hope this information is helpful.
