Jockey Women's Skimmies Ultralight Smoothing Soft Stretch Lace Slip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't often wear formal dresses that need a slip, but when I do I want to feel very sure that everything is where it should be! This slip is great for that, definitely will be a go-to for some dresses. The stretch is good, lace is soft enough to not notice while wearing. My only trouble is that the material likes to 'stick' to some fabrics, due to static cling. Linen is no problem, but my silk dress behaved a little weirdly. I get the same issue with some leggings, where the skirt sticks to my legs.

I'm in between sizes so I had some trouble trying to figure out if a medium or large would work better for me. Ultimately I opted to go the bigger size. Though in hindsight I think I probably should have done the lesser size for the shapewear aspect. I feel like it fits like a regular slip while clinging to my belly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Soft Stretch lace slip with ultralight smoothing is well made but I don't think it provides me with the smoothing under a dress I was looking for. I typically go for the high waisted underwear style compression wear to really suck everything in and this just doesn't have enough compression for me. That's not really a fault of it h product because it does specifically say compression free so it is more of just a extra layer to wear under your dress and help cover "creases". The fabric has a nice cooling feel to it due to its nylon/spandex construction. Plenty of stretch to the fabric and I suppose you could size down a little to get a more compressive fit. It has no slits at the bottom so just be aware of you are looking for that this slip doesn't have them. Over all it's a well made Jockey slip and I like the way the fabric feels, but I will most likely wear it for sleeping and not under a dress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the feel of this slip. It feels so smooth and soft. I love the little lace detail on the hem. It smooths all the right places while still feeling comfortable. It has a nice retro look to it as well.

One note: if you are looking for more shapewear from this garment, it would probably be best to size down. I ordered in my regular size and it was a bit looser than I expected. Still works great as a slip or to wear to bed.

It is a bit of a thicker material than most sleepwear so if you're cold natured it works out well. The quality is great as usual , fits true to size, and washes and dries well. I didnt have any bleeding dye or shrinking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slip is soft and very comfy. It fits my body well. It can be worn under lots of clothes. If it was a little shorter I could wear it under a skirt that was even shorter. I would buy this again and even give it as a gift to my friends.

The black had a nice reflective look to it and the shoulder straps are a nice touch due to being a complimentary black lace Wearing was also comfortable when going to sleep in it. Personally I get cold easily but felt a little bit of warmth from this. As for wearing underneath clothing, I tried it and it did not feel good to me. Maybe I am not wearing it with the correct clothing but it works better as comfortable but sexy sleep ware. The sizing was very consistent and fit as it should. Overall a good cami, just not one that I personally can wear underneath clothing. Due to that, I knocked off 2 stars.

It’s light weight so probably not something you’d want to wear if you’re cold or in the winter… but if the house is warm or it’s spring or summer time then this is perfect! And it looks great on too!

I’d wear this under a dress but also as a nighty. I wish I didn’t get black since most of my dresses are lighter in color. I’m 5’6”, 140# and in a small. Hits me above my knee. Adjustable straps.

It is stretchy but the fabric is on the thicker side so the stretch gives you a little compression and allows you to move and BREATHE without hindrance. The XL is true to size. I love that the skirt portion of this slip has movement so your legs aren’t confined and it won’t ride up. This is a great, versatile well made slip. I love the material and it provides opaque coverage. This is definitely a winner for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jockey’s soft stretch lace black slip is wonderful. It is super soft and comfortable to wear underneath my dress. Size large was perfect for dress size 12 cup size A. The straps are adjustable which I like as well to prevent the strap from falling down under my dress. Overall it’s another wonderful product from Jockey and would recommend adding to your closet.

Jockey's fabric - and lack of tags - make it super comfortable, fitted but not clingy. It didn't get overly static-y (which drives me crazy) and stay put without having to readjust regularly. I look forward to trying to with different dresses
