Q: What is the distance between the shelf and the bottom of the work surface ?

A: That is a great question! If my math is correct the space between should be 22.5in. The item (H) is 36in minus the 1.5in table top, also the the FDA Food Code requires that food be stored six inches off the floor at minimum. This leads me to the conclusion that the space is approximately 22.5in. Please let us know if you have any other great questions!

Just arrived two days earlier than scheduled. Very high quality wood, a small divet in part of it but not enough to bother me. Easy to set up, though instructions are definitely aimed at commercial kitchen vs home set up.

I was concerned this was a lower tier Boos block product, but it’s not. Solid wood block, already oiled a little. Industrial stainless legs and shelf. Nicer than what we have in the restaurant I work in. Just be sure to buy some mineral oil with it and oil it often. Well worth it

I love this table but it is seriously heavy duty industrial strength. I would say if you plan on doing this without a drill be prepared with a wrench and to have very tired hands. The packaging was great, no damage at all. The pre-drilled holes are very tight and the screws very deep, but once your done it's very sturdy and looks great.

While the table is very sturdy, the quality just isn’t worth the price tag. It arrived with a dent and gap already formed in the center of the table top, I had to redrill two holes to get the legs properly lined up, and the metal shelf is scratched up terribly. Unfortunately, this table is also 75lbs pounds and returning it is a two person job.
