The website states, "Can be used indoors or outside" but I didn't find it suitable for indoors. I found the pump to be too noisy; I can hear it over the water flow. The water flow adjustment is minimal so if you are expecting to get it down small stream then you may be disappointed. For outdoors, I'm sure it would be lovely.
