Pleasantly surprised
Got a coupon for these so I bought them. Was hesitant because Brats have been very disappointing lately, since these are beef I was kind of looking forward to trying them! Boy was I surprised, they’re delicious! But when they were cooking, I could smell a familiar scent, reminds me of Pho. Didn’t taste like Pho, but whatever that seasoning is, it kept repeating on me, just like Pho does, that being said, they are very good!

Item is spoiled appears green, best before date is actually today 10/13/24. I thought it was my eyes but had to get another person to take a look. I buy this all the time so I can definitely tell if something is wrong .

Beef? Maybe...
These so-called "smoked beef brats" are a waste of hard-earned money. Beef? Maybe...but ALMOST flavorLESS. SMOKED? Nah...not even a little bit. These were created in the same vein as "light beer". Similar to beer, but not. Save your money and your disappointment.

Not Really a Brat
I bought a package of the fully cooked Beef Brats/Smoked Brat and was disappointed in their flavor. They really just tasted like a hot dog rather than a brat. I tried these for the first time today and will return to the old style brats in the future. While there was a slightly smoked flavor, it had no bratwurst quality. Sorry, but when Johnsonville calls something a brat, I expect a flavorful link of meat.
