Journee Signature Extra Wide Calf Women's Genuine Leather Laila Boot

I really liked the packaging and the boot style! But unfortunately I actually have wide calves, ordered extra wide calf and this was not wide calf friendly. There was absolutely no give and I got half way zipping it up. The boot itself was also kind of tight. I would size up. I’m a true size 7. I will be returning this boot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truly not X-wide calf. 16.5" calf size is really not extra wide. They also are not true to size in the shoe itself as I always wear a size 10 and these were way to short and tight of a fit in the toe box. I'd likely need to go one size up. The quality is actually really beautiful but wouldn't be comfortable in your usual size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first true extra wide calf I’ve tried that did not compromise on style. The leather is great quality and has broken in lovely. I did go up a half size in the foot and it’s a perfect fit, so maybe the foot runs a bit small, but not the calf. I love the shape of the block heel and the curve at the top of the boot, it keeps the look of the boot fun and fresh.

Not wide calf friendly at all!! 16” circumference on the boot is way too small, should have read the reviews before buying. These did not even zip up on me. The boot itself is gorgeous and great quality but not extra wide calf.

These are not only not extra wide calf. They aren’t even wide. Don’t buy if you ever even had to buy wide calf boot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful boot and I wish I could give it a 5 but I had to return because the calf area didn’t fit. I purchased the extra wide calf and that is 16” circumference which is definitely not extra wide. Extra wide should be in the 19”-22” range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very cute, I loved the stacked heel and pointed toe and while I applaud this company for striving for inclusivity the EXTRA-WIDE size still didn't fit my 17" calves.... Maybe explore more calf sizes or larger differences between normal, wide, and extra wide instead of a single inch difference. Appreciate the effort though to be more inclusive, doing more than many companies in this arena.

I wanted to love these, but unfortunately because of the shape of the shaft I need to return them. I wanted to be able to wear them with skirts/dresses and also flare jeans, but they stick out weird under the pant legs and look super awkward. I wish I could attach a photo. The look and quality were beautiful, but they are too wide and gap around the knee too noticeably to wear with pants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful, high quality leather boot. Calf measurements are off by 1-2 inches, which is a lot. Measured my calf and still did not fit, despite being within the provided range for my size purchased. Disappointed because they are so lovely!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful boots, I had to return the first pair I received, which I ordered in "Wide Calf" but it would not zip up past my ankles (I have thick ankles, not so much thick calves). I returned those for an "Extra Wide Calf" and also went up a size (from 6.5 to 7.5) and now they fit perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extra wide calf is a misnomer. I have another pair of extra wide calf boots from this brand (synthetic leather) and they fit perfectly. These can't even zip up past the ankle. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice boot but there was very little difference in the calf size of the wide calf boot versus the extra wide calf boot. Both were much too small for my calves unfortunately. I had to return them sadly.
