I’m sure the music is fine if I could actually listen to it. Both records in this double record album were warped and unplayable. I don’t mean a small warp but enough to make lightweight cartridges like my p-mount jump off the record. Sad.

The song choices themselves are amazing, bringing back many memories. The pressing of the album is subpar, many clicks and pops, the trebel is too exaggerated and distorted. Rather disappointed in the quality. For casual listening on a low quality turntable, it's ok. But on good quality systems...not recommended.

Steve Perry co-produced this 2024 remaster, and it was lacquer cut by Chris Bellman, one of the best. It's a much needed improvement over the 1998 reissue. I only had the original 1988 on CD so cannot compare to the original pressing.

I put my records and then the needle just slips across the record, cutting the song.
