Our 4 1/2 year old grandson still plays with this set after2 years so we got a 2nd one to make the marbles go twice around. Its easy to create various designs within the maze and adults will find it just as entertaining to watch or help build new paths. Very easy to put together and a real joy to watch our grandson put together his own designs. The parts fit together well and are sturdy. Best for firm surfaces so the marbles travel down easily and smoothly.He really loves playing with this set.

Our 4 year old and 6 year old grandchildren absolutely loved this marble run! Parents even left it out on the coffee table in the living room because they played with it so much. Wish they had an add on product so we could make it event bigger and have more fun!

I am not sure who likes this better, me or my 2 year old son! They say kids are expensive, well this is cheap and fun! Like Mr. Rogers told Oprah, the main problem parents have is they forget what it was like to be kids. I think he was talking about the mental stage, but I like to think of it as we all need to have fun and be kids again!This thing has 4 routes. I am an enginerd (as my wife likes to call me) so I really enjoy my son putting them in on one side and I send them back to his side. They will clog up up if you send to man and it backs up but that is the fun challenge.Really easy to set up. Comes undone when my son picks it up and slams it. You just pushed it back together from the top and it works. For the money, you can't beat it!

Oh, and they have a lot of fun with it too...when I let them play with it.In all seriousness, my 3 year old is fascinated with cause and effect toys, and this one is perfect. The set comes with instructions to assemble it as pictured and easy enough to follow with a year old. The pieces are precision cut and fit very snugly together. It actually might make it a little difficult for small children to disassemble. Took two of us about 30m to put together. I recommend having one person skip to the end and assembly the chain while everyone else works on the main structure.It has 4 overlapping tracks and one of them is motorized. It takes up a bit of space, but not too much. We actually placed it in a small fruit pallet box (because sometimes marbles like to fly out of one of the tracks).

Wasn't hard putting together. Don't get frustrated with the 236 pieces! Just make sure certain parts are higher where it is to be. I went by the manual and the box it came into.

worth the time to assemble
Do not expect your child to put this thing together. It was hard for me to assembly with the help of my child constantly throwing marbles down each run while i was trying to read directions and not mess up. But it was so worth it because it literally kept my kids entertained for days. I wouldnt try to move it and it definitely isnt for small children but I am not going to lie even I enjoyed it a little.
