On each turn, roll dice and move along the path, using the electronic Green Dome to reveal a captivating riddle or perilous event. Look deep into the Dome as mysterious words and animations illuminate and appear. From poisonous spiders to mountain avalanches, danger is everywhere! With 100 Challenges to survive, you never know what Jumanji has in store for you. Reach the center with at least one Life Token left per player and yell “JUMANJI!” – you’ve just won for the whole group! My son likes the game but it's boring and so LOUD. No way to adjust the volume. I don't understand why this game is as loud as it is. That one reason alone makes me want to never play it

Creative thinking required! You cannot just sit and play this game, there will be (easy and silly) physical challenges. Good game for elementary ages through adult. Nostalgic music and the middle gives the clues like in the movie Jumanji. Dislike: Only a maximum of 4 players. However, watching the players play the game is quite entertaining!

The volume on this game is WAY to loud. No option to turn off or turn to lower volume. I even covered the speaker holes with tape and it was still way too loud. There is a lot of unnecessary music that plays and really takes away from the game. I wish I could return it but I threw away the box before we had played it. I would not recommend this game at all.

It’s presentation is awesome and it having sound effects and a little video player makes it nice. All my life I thought the Jumanji board game would be complicated and for adults but after buying it I quickly found out it’s target demographic is young kiddos and a family game. For older teenagers and adults it’s kind of a miss. It is all about being a team and working together with young kids with challenges like “lightning is striking quick find a place to hide for 30 seconds or lose a life” and “spiders are everywhere stomp the ground for 30 seconds to get them all”. 10/10 for parents with 9 and under kids or just innocent easy fun.

We LOVE this game. I’m 28 and played this game with my 49 year old mom and my 7 year old. I read some of the reviews saying it’s childish… it’s a child’s game. The challenges of course are going to be for children and easy/simple. This is my far the most fun board game.

Got this for Christmas. I was excited because it resembles the game in the movie and it had sounds. We played twice and I’m going to return it. It’s fun for younger kids. The rules don’t make sense and the event tasks are very childish. The volume is loud and you can’t adjust it. The noises are kinda scary for small kids. It’s really not as fun as the older version where you roll dice to beat challenges. The riddles are vague and it’s hard to guess the answer.

I am obviously in the minority here. But I found this have ridiculous and unplayable. The challenges are things like hopping up and down on one foot for 45 seconds, or sitting underneath the table for the remainder of the game. We have two disabled people in our family and couldn't do anything. I would have preferred all challenges be dice challenges. Like roll for a rope. Each time you roll other than a rope, move back one space. That kind of thing. Also, there were no clear advantages or penalties for getting our not getting the challenge. The original Jumanji game was much better. This did have cool sounds, but only people on one side of the board could read the riddles. There was no way to twist it around. Hard pass.
