I bought this to replace another Jump Start Fixture that had stopped working. It was exactly what I needed to fit the light stand I already had. I had great, healthy seedlings all spring and later used it to help revive sad house plants and some fig tree saplings. I wish there was a timer setting between 12 and 18 hours (15 or 16 would be nice). I was on the verge of buying another one for expanding my seed starting space but this one did the same thing my first Jump Start light did and stopped working less than a year after I got it. The timer still turns on and I hoped it was a bad bulb but after several bulb swaps no luck. I would still recommend this set-up for a beginners first grow light, but for the advanced gardener this isn't a sustainable option.

I've had these lights for about two and a half months. They were easy to set up, and I can easily adjust the height to accommodate whatever plants are underneath. The timer function works just as advertised. Spritzes of water haven't appeared to have affected the lights, and dried on salt residue or soil is easy to wipe off. There is some heat generated by the bulbs (which is expected with this type of light), but it dissipates less than two inches from the bulb - combined with a fan to circulate air, this isn't much of a problem unless you're trying to start seedlings. #sweepstakes

I love my lights! they came in 4 days, and were packaged very nicely. they came with 2 different options to hang them. east to turn on and have a timer.
