Q: Does the jaw lock into place like the Allosaurus, or is it free-range like the Giganotosaurus figure?

A: The upper and lower jaw lock in place. I would also be careful when opening the mouth since it is prone to getting caught on the inner mouth pieces if you don’t push them right.

Absolutely gorgeous figure, the Hammond collection spinosaurus is unarguably the best dinosaur in this line for toy photography. My favorite shots to take of it are during storm in the rain to recreate scenes from the movie Jurassic Park 3. It has amazing details and life like eyes. Overall a great figure, looks amazing, but my only gripe is that for the price I’m paying you would think the quality control would be better. I tried posing my spino in an attack position but his mouth doesn’t open/close without excessive force to the point im afraid of breaking it. I’ve decided to just leave him it alone out of fear of breaking his jaw.
