K&H Pet Products Microwavable Pet Bed Warmer Blue 9" x 9"

Purchased for my cat. It took 7 minutes to get it soft and squishy. The heat only lasted for 3-4 hours. Our cat is small and it wasn't comfortable for her to lay on. I would have returned it to the store but I threw the box it came in away.

I got one for a rescue kitten and it was working, but only stayed warm for about 4 hours. I've had it only a couple of weeks and now, (after 4min, then another 4, then 5minutes) it doesn't heat up at all! Bummer.

I received two of these for Christmas. I followed the directions to the letter. Although the product was warm the smell was horrible. Neither of my two dogs will go anywhere near them as they have a horrible chemical smell. Not only does the warmer smell but it transfers the smell to the pet blankets and bed. I had a "fun" night washing all that bedding! I let my neighbor borrow one for their dog and the same thing happened - smell repels dogs. I have the traditionsl plastic warming disks. These never smelled and have worked for years. These K&H warmers need to be reworked. I can't imagine how no one has smelled them before!

I microwave this in 3 minute intervals, up to 10, until all wax inside us melted. Roll it up in small cotton rug, under his favorite sweatshirt, ON his foam cushion. In a covered dry, windproof box on my covered lanai. Feral cat loves it. The wrapping of the heated pad makes it stay warm up to 12 hours. It was in the 30's F here in SW FL, but cat is just fine. I warm it up for him every night and he comes running

This is good for situations where a plug-in warmer is not convenient. Nice product!

I got this for my cat when it's cold and so far he likes it. Would totally recommend as a gift too!

This states on the pack that it keeps warm up to 12 hours, when in fact mine only kept warm between 4 - 6 hours and only just luke warm. I only covered it with a thin tea towel and the warmth did not come through enough to have any effect. Plus once it starts to harden again it is very uncomfortable for my kitten. I have since bought an electric one and these are perfect. This product is over priced and useless

I've got 4 of these, recently bought the latest one. They work exactly as described if you follow the directions and I always use a towel around them before placing them in my outdoor cats bed. Awesome product.

Used this product to keep body temp up during surgical procedures on small dog and cats. Would love this product to come in different sizes. Great and easy to use. Wonderful product!!

I got some of these for my outdoor feral kitties and it's worked perfectly! First, feral kitties are super skittish about foreign things near them. However, they are perfectly comfortable with these. In fact, we found that as one of them cooled and re-hardened there was a little kitty pawprint solidified in the middle. Apparently, one fell asleep on it and it eventually cooled around their little paws. Second, I was a little concerned that it might be too warm if microwaved for several minutes. Was I going to have to wrap it in something to prevent over-warming or even a minor burn? Nope! It's so well insulated that it's pleasantly warm, but that's it. However, I did learn from the customer service rep. that it will help to keep it warm longer if wrapped in a towel, blanket, or bed. This really is perfect for outdoor animals. There is very little foreign odor (maybe a slight new rubbery smell) and no noise to scare easily startled or skittish animals. Compared to some of the electric beds it is also very economical and you don't have to worry about electrical dangers! I highly recommend!
