I have been taking bone meal for over 30 years in tablet form, now I switched to powder, much easier to take. I trust swanson to get me the best quality out there. I do not take any calcium other than bone meal, magnesium and a few other mineral supplements. I am 72, drove truck for 46 years, my Doctor said that I still have the bone structure of younger men. He didn't know my secret but keep it up, I believe it is the bone meal. Thanks Swanson for such great products you provide.

I love the fact that this is so pure. I mix with water and swish around in my mouth to coat all my teeth, because our teeth are made of this stuff, this helps to strengthen them.

I cook for my dogs and cats and do some raw food as well. Since I don't have a high end meat grinder, in which to grind bones, I supplement with this bone meal powder....am grateful for the size and pricing.

Very high quality bone meal powder! I bought this for my little dog. I measure out the correct dose for him and put it in his meals. I feed him a homemade raw food diet.

I had been looking for a good price on bone meal for a long time then one day I decided to search in Swanson store to see if they carried it and they did. I purchased a couple because I don't like to run out of it. I put it in homemade pet food and the stuff is excellent quality for the money. I only wish it came in larger sizes which is why I only gave it a 4 on the convenience and value. I love Swanson prices and quality, good job once again!!

I home cook for my dogs/cats and as such, I have to add calcium to their meals. I love the KAL bone meal for this purpose. I trust the quality of the KAL brand and am so glad that Swanson's carries this product.

I tried taking various calcium pills to support bone health. They all caused GI discomfort until I tried this bone meal powder. I'm able to put this calcium powder supplement in blended fruit drinks without any side effects. I've been using it for several years. If you have trouble tolerating calcium supplements, you might try this one.

I make homemade catfood for my cats. Unless an animal is on a restricted diet, bone meal is an important addition to any non-commercial dog or cat food. Bone meal sold in garden-supply departments is never to be used for human or animal consumption. Most bone meal supplements come in the form of tablets, and the few companies that sell it in powdered form are fairly pricey. Swanson's price on Kal Bone Meal Powder is the best I've seen.

I make my dog's food at home and I always add bone meal. This particular brand is a great vale, as you could pay a lot more for bone meal, but I am a little worried that it doesn't say "heavy metal free."
