Q: What is this made out of? Do they dry out? How long will these hold up?

A: The Genoa Gel Writing Boards outer material is a plastic sheeting made of Barex. Sealed inside is a patented gel formula that consists of a baby oil base with ferro-magnetic particles suspended in it. The gel writing boards will not dry out, and will hold up for a long period of time.
