This sconce is offered with a brushed nickel nickel finish and frosted glass shade. The unit is a snap to assemble and install. Packaging: Well designed to protect the sconce and shade from damage in shipment. The metal base unit is wrapped to avoid any scratches to the finish. The shade is protected with cardboard and secured well in the inner packaging to avoid breakage. Assembly: Three parts need to be assembled after unpacking the sconce from the shipping materials. A simple attachment of the shade to the base unit (referred to as the canopy in instructions) with a socket ring that simply twists into place inside the shade. Installation Instructions: Clearly written with full diagram of all parts and detailed wiring steps. Installation: Simple attachment of the mounting bracket to the electrical box, wiring connection and final mounting with two screws into the base unit canopy to secure the sconce to the wall. Unit can be mounted facing up or down and can be used in a damp indoor environment such as a washroom. The entire installation process was completed in 15 minutes. Recommended Deployment: In pairs complimenting mirrors in a washroom. As wall accents in rooms where sconces compliment furniture of lighting needs such a up a staircase. Lighting: Incandescent 75w or LED 13w bulbs can be installed offering a nice dispersed light through the etch (frosted) shade. An excellent choice to match your decorating needs.

The shade is a nice opaque color but still allows for the light to shine and light up the space. It doesn’t go badly with other fixtures in our home which is a plus. I would definitely to buy.

This is a great addition to our office/study Light output is great. I was a little worried Ith thick glass it would be dulled but it was not. The light is bright. I was very happy with the way this looks. I think anyone would be happy.

The install was done in the family study room to highlight one of our favorite painting. The brushed frosted glass gives the room a warm glow and highlights the painting. The silver color and high gooseneck frame shows off the simple design.

My husband installed it in our family room and replaced a sconce we had that was dated and had to go. The brushed nickel finish looks great paired with our light blue-gray walls. The sconces really updated the space. We just updated our fireplace to a gas fireplace conversion and I was looking for lighting that would bring a certain level of sophistication to the space. These provides the right amount of light without overpowering the fireplace. I loved the brushed nickel finish.
