Description
The simple design of this ultra-modern large brushed nickel outdoor wall light is inspired by minimalist louvered exterior fixtures often seen on a step or along the base of a house. The two bulbs are diffused with a panel of pure white acrylic that creates an inviting glow and enhances the contemporary look. UL-rated for wet locations. Modern Fixture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely much more modern than what I am used to seeing out in the stores, but I absolutely love it! The grate/openings in the front allow out just the right amount of light. The light doesn't get too hot which is definitely a plus! Loving the modern touch it brings to my newly purchased townhome!

Quality exterior fixture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fixture was packed very well and came with installation instructions. Need to disassemble the entire fixture for installation. This included removing the face plate and diffuser. Challenges encountered during installation include: - Installation instructions show a "threaded ball" but none was included in the box. - Need to substitute 1/2" shorter mounting screws. Exterior electrical boxes are not very deep. Supplied screws are too long. - Circular mounting strap had a center hole that was too small to fit threaded post from back of fixture. Needed to use a mounting plate from a different fixture. Alternatively, you could cut out the post mounting portion of the strap since it does not hold the fixture. - Standard exterior mounting block for siding is not long enough to seal the back of the fixture. Also since fixture is long it is not possible to caulk back of fixture to the mounting block. I fear water and insects will get into the back of the fixture. Once installed I added an LED capable dimmer to the circuit and installed two 40 W LED bulbs. The fixture provided an adequate amount of light on the no dim setting and looked nice when dimmed as an atmosphere type of light. We have used the single bulb Newport fixture on another part of the house and are very happy with the service life and ability to stand up to a decade of New England winters. From the looks of the new model it should last just as long.
