Hemp Duvet & Sham Set - Casaluna™

I love the color of the duvet. However, it has a rough texture. I have washed it several times trying to soften it up and it has a bit. The problem is that it is losing a lot of its fabric or texture? Every time I empty out the lint trap I am scooping out a handful of lint. And the duvet cover is now a bit see through in the light. Not a big deal yet. It also has a problem keeping the insert in place, so it is constantly unaligned(which drives me crazy). So I bought some clips from Amazon to keep it in place and it’s much better. I’m glad I was able to get this on sale. What I know now, I’ll not buy another Casaluna duvet of this fabric again.

I got this duvet cover in white and it’s a little see through, but my insert is white so you can’t tell. I was actually surprised at how soft it was, I was thinking it would take a few washes to feel like that but so far I love it!

We have these in our guest room and every time someone stays over they ask where our sheets are from. They’re such a great price point too! Washed them plenty of times and holds up very well

Love the material and the color. However, this sheds lint EVERYWHERE. We washed it once and everything was fine. After the second wash, we are finding lint all over the house! It’s on the floor, on my nightstand, in my hair… EVERYWHERE. My husband washed the filters on three of our air purifiers in the home (we have a cat) and the filters were all COVERED in the lint. Fabric is starting to look so worn, but it’s only been used for about a month and had been washed twice. Wish we would exchange it for a different duvet cover, but it was a gift 😩

I've had this Duvet cover for a while. It's been perfect for the summer months as it is not too hot. It also hasn't pilled either. It doesn't necessarily have a soft feel, but it's comfortable. I have a couple of issues with the marketing and design of the product. The full/queen should just be marketed as a queen. I have a full-size duvet insert and there is so much extra space left over in the duvet, it's just not visually attractive and wrinkles a lot. The cover is too big for a full-size mattress. There are only 4 ties on the duvet cover, one on each corner. Since it's advertised as a full/queen it would have been better to include 4 additional ties; on the center of each side to help secure the duvet in place given the extra room. Overall the duvet cover is comfortable and the color I was looking for, but overpriced given the design flaws.

I really wanted to love this duvet cover. The color and look of it was great (at first). The feel of the fabric was wonderful. But the quality - especially for the hefty price tag - was just not there. After less than two months of use, threads started pulling out all over making it look old and ratty. The zipper on the duvet cover was also weak and felt like it was just a matter of time before it broke. I couldn’t stomach paying as much as I did for this and having it not hold up and look the way it does only weeks later so I will be returning this item.

They truly are like a softer, lighter linen. Absolutely perfect! Except I am SO disappointed because even after 2 washes, the amount of lint is unfathomable. Lint rolling is futile, you can rub over the same spot repeatedly and go through sheet after sheet. If you’re sensitive to dust, these sheets are an absolute no. I’ve never encountered sheets like this in my life. I am giving it 2 more washes before I decide to return.

Feels like extra-worn and washed linen which is to say, it is delightful on the skin. I run hot and these are thin and cool. Sure it's a bit sheer, but I don't care. just perfect!

This duvet cover is glorious. I’ve bought in two different colors for the seasons. It’s extremely soft, washes well, and makes our bed feel like a dream. My kiddo wants one in a twin size for his bed because he loves it so much. Hemp is a superior material compared to linen, so happy that Target is using it!

Love it. Four stars because I never give five. Nice linen look, which will ALWAYS have a rumpled old world texture. It’s part of the charm, so if you like slick and smooth you will be disappointed. I save that texture for the cotton sheets and pillowcases. Best of both worlds that way. I have had it for two months and wash it weekly. I don’t use a top sheet so the feel of a duvet is important to me, and this feels great to me. I am a hot sleeper and don’t like the feel of weighted blankets holding me down, so this cover and the Casaluna lightweight down alternative comforter have been a luxury combo for me. I sleep cool and cozy and yet I’m totally warm enough (I keep the thermostat at 58f at night). I washed it twice before using, with some white vinegar in the wash, first right side out then inside out. I usually line dry it then toss it in the dryer for ten minutes on low. The line drying makes it look ironed and the dryer softens it a bit while still keeping it rather smooth. I also have a new Shih Tzu puppy and there is no problem with his tiny claws snagging anything. He doesn’t sleep in the bed but gets the cuddle for an hour while I’m reading, and as a tiny puppy he is hyper, jumping around, and wrestling with pillows without a single snag. I don’t really use the shams at all, but maybe I’ll give them another try. I got the natural color it as a nice neutral, and just ordered the rose for a splash of spring color.

I ordered this even after reading all the reviews because I thought it couldn’t be that bad and I loved the look of the set. It is that bad!!!! Just trying to put on the duvet cover, I started sneezing and coughing. There were little fibers everywhere! I immediately took it off and will return. I had to change my sheets, vacuum and dust my entire bedroom twice, once after taking the cover off and hours later because there were so many fibers everywhere still. I would not recommend!

DO NOT BUY!!!! This fabric is extremely scratchy and I’ve washed it over 15 times and it’s still shedding fibers.

This bedding looks beautiful and it is soft but it makes constant fluff. I washed it twice and it continued to make a very fine fluff/dust in every part of my room. I found it even in coating my air purifier and filling my hair brush because it was in my hair. I loved the look but had to return.

This is so soft! It washes incredibly well. Whoever does get wrinkled quite easily and quickly. After I washed it and dried it, I turned it inside out to put the duvet cover on my down comforter and soooooo much fluzz came flying out. I love Casaluna in general. Their forward thinking, especially with the duvet covers and comforters with the extra tie and tab to indicate which side goes where really makes everything really easy!

I like it but I don’t love it. I like the color, look and feel of it but I think it is overpriced and not as lightweight as I would like. The biggest turn off is really the price because there is nothing special about this piece.

This duvet cover is quite lovely! It fits the casaluna wool blend insert perfectly. I love that casaluna makes their stuff slightly oversized. The hemp is very lightweight and almost sheer. It feels like linen but silky like rayon. It is very soft, warm and cozy paired with the wool blend insert. It was out of stock when they were on sale sonic ended up paying full price but I still think it was worth it. Photos are texture before and after its washed.

I have the white version in my guest bedroom and I've had two comments now about how soft and comfy this duvet is. It's a great weight, has all the handy ties inside that keep the comforter in place and it looks great! I'm thinking about getting one for my master bedroom, which I normally buy pricier linens for but this one has been so good, why spend more?
