Q: How are these raised or lowered? I see no control cord.

A: To higher, keep a hand under the pot, gently push up (even if t is all the way up) then slowly lower to about where you want it. To lower, hold the plant pot bottle up a little them let the plant weight helps fall down until the height you want, then you can release the plant.
