This is guaranteed to be an amazing and fun activity to do with your kids.The instructions are easy to follow for children and adults alike. And after just three days we had little sprouts, after 5 days we had a mini garden and now we have really large plants!My kids are in awe every single day looking at it!Here is a little tip. One dirt disc would have been enough honestly for us to use. Do not be like me and do it on carpet inside. Lesson learned. Have the kids add the fun stickers first, or you might end up with extra spills. We did. Otherwise, it is very easy to do.Overall, this is an amazing way to teach children about growing plants in a beautiful and functional way. Absolutely worth getting it!

Easy teaching kit for kids.Used this to teach my kids how plants grow. Really appreciate having the one side which is clear (you can really see the roots here) and the contrasting dirt side (which is where plant roots normally grow). Everything we needed was in this kit and it was quite easy to do. It does get slightly messy so do prepare to do this in an area that is easy to clean up, but after initial set up it really isn't messy moving forward.This made teaching my kids about plants, roots, how they grow so much simpler as I definitely don't have a green thumb.Why is the Hulk so good at gardening though? He has a green thumb.

This promises to be a lot of fun and a great learning experience for the grands. They were here today when it arrived, and they whisked it away to the kitchen to unpack it, get water, and set it up. Everything looks exactly like the pictures, and everything you need is in the box except a paper towel, a pencil and water. The instructions are very simply and clearly written. The kit was complete and had no odors.They had fun and didn't notice that they were learning along with the play. They are learning inches from the markings on the garden, using graph paper to take notes (they will be prepared for science labs someday), planning ahead, the value of consistent small steps, how to observe in detail, taking notes and making a numbered instruction list. This little garden can teach them a lot more than what is listed at face value. And of course we talked a lot as we (they) did everything.They asked lots of questions and made a lot of decisions about their first garden. They thought it was sturdy enough with the weight of the water to not tip (it is), but they opted to set it in a safe place at an out of the way window anyway. They are working on a schedule for who will take care of the scheduled waterings and tasks. This is rich with value as an educational toy.
