A: Mine has been washed once and it didn't shed when brand new and it hasn't shed after either.

I love the color, heft texture and size of this throw. It’s warm enough for pretty cool nights but also not so heavy and warm that it can’t be used in the summer. It is a really good quality cotton and feels very natural which I love. I have three of them and am about to buy a couple more. Mine did shed and had to be washed and dried twice to get the fuzz out but after that - no shedding and I absolutely love them.

Beautiful shade of white! 'Sour cream'. Larger in size, yay. This throw does not shed at all, as so many others have reviewed. Do we all have the same blanket?? :) No shed at all with this one. I use it daily and had it for a month now. I hope to see more colors with this one!

I bought three of these several years ago and use them year round -- some to protect upholstery from soil and pet fur, and another to cuddle with. They still look fresh! Easy to wash and dry, and I haven't experienced the lint issues on my furniture, even when putting it over navy "velvet". (Yes, the dryer lint screen gets full, but the device is doing its job! ) I'll see if new throws are different from the older ones.

I’ve washed several times and it still leaves a lot of lint in the dryer each time and noticeable traces of lint on dark clothes. But it’s soft, breathable, 100% cotton that perfectly regulates your body temperature year-round (we have cold winters and hot summers where I live). I also have a striped version of this blanket, so I liked it (& the price) enough to buy it twice. Although I purchased for sofa use, the intent is to eventually use them to replace some pretty old picnic/beach blankets, so I didn’t want to invest much money. Also, after learning about the micro plastics that man-made fabrics shed into our waterways with every wash, I’ve been making a more concerted effort to reduce the amount of polyester/acrylic/etc. that I purchase.
