This garlic press is terrific! Curved press is not clunky like my old press, and makes the most out of my effort. Easy cleaning.

I purchased this garlic press 5 years ago and have used it a couple of times a week since then. It worked well up until last week when one of the the outer “plugs” that hold it together broke and therefore rendered it useless. I purchased this expensive garlic press that failed under average use by a 3 person family. So disheartening.

This is well made solid and mince's perfectly. However the holes are still a bit of a challenge to clean out. It would be absolutely perfect if it came with some kind of a tool or appendage that would clean out the holes.

I bought this to replace a 20+ year old all-metal supermarket press that had the paint flaking off. Being more aware of health risks of certain materials now, I wanted something that didn't have plastic parts or PFAS, and this was basically the only one I could find, plus it was rated well on cooking sites. Cons: About a third of the garlic smooshs around the sides of the piece with the holes, so it's either lost or you have to open it and scrape those pieces into the middle and press again, sometimes twice. For how expensive this was, that annoyingly poor design makes it not worth it, for me. I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again. Pros: It does indeed have a nice large hopper, does work with at least one thin layer of skin on (I haven't tried to leave more on), it doesn't require a lot of strength to use, and because the part with the holes swings up, it is easy to clean. I actually think that having a small hopper (like the Ikea one), and loading the cloves separately is less annoying than having to deal with the garlic splooging out the sides.

I use a lot of fresh garlic. I wanted to splurge on a good press, and I chose correctly! This sucker is a game-changer for minced garlic. I can't believe how easy it is to squeeze. Fits several small cloves or most large ones no problem. After pressing, the only garlic remaining is the tough outer part. It's super simple to load with more cloves and not fumble with it. Cleaning it is by far than other presses due to its super smart design. No digging out pressed in garlic, it unfolds so that the section the garlic presses through (holes) lays flat. Scrape the debris right off. This device is the absolute best.

Absolutely love this garlic press! Do a lot of cooking and there’s nothing more annoying than scraping pieces of garlic out of a press. This one makes it so much easier. I just got two for Christmas presents.

I have had the for about 3 years. Loved it. When going to use it today I found the screw that holds it all together was missing. Would love to be able to get a replacement screw. Otherwise it is unusable.

Best ever garlic press-I give them as housewarming gifts to friends and always a huge hit.

I bought this less than 2 years ago from a reputable retailer and it broke! A key component holding it together just popped out and would not go back in because the part holding it together broke off! I thought for sure I'd have this forever, especially given the price.

Fantastic grade material. Wonderful feel. Easy to clean. Only downside is it’s easy to pinch your hand at times. But love this product !

This garlic press was a big disappointment. For a senior cook, it is very hard to use. The handle is too short to allow for easy pressing and the tool is too heavy. The press flips over when opened based on its weight and imbalance. Not a recommended purchase.

Amazing device! Worth the price. Works on unpeeled garlic even.

The best garlic tool made by far, 16 years of love

This is an extremely nice garlic press. However, I do find it is a little awkward when pressing the handle completely down. It almost feels like the skin of my hand will get pinched. Having the grate pop out for easy cleaning is a plus. I'm not sure it's worth the price tag as far as usefulness but definitely for quality.

So, I never found the need for a garlic press because they were not that efficient, I can mince with a knife and the press was always tough to clean. Until now!! This is great! A timesaver, easy to clean and no need to peel the garlic! Highly recommend.

I’ve used many a type of garlic press and hands down this is not only the best constructed press, but so easy to use and you don’t even need to remove the outer layer of the cloves. It’s also easy to clean.
