This is absolute garbage. Does not work at all. I had to press quadruple the amount of garlic the recipe called for just to get a little bit properly minced. What a waste of my money.

All of the negative reviews are correct — garlic doesn’t press through the holes easily, becomes mush, perforated piece easily falls out. I even pinched my hand from squeezing the handles, causing a bruise. My only positive remark would be that I appreciate how heavy duty the handles are. The press has an overall nice weight to it. Otherwise, would not recommend at all. Planning to return and request a full refund.

Great tool instead of chopping garlic with a knife

The holes are so small so it’s impossible to push garlic through! You waste so much and then it’s impossible to clean. It’s also multiple pieces so it falls apart and finicky to even push down on to begin with

At first this garlic press seems like it would be great--feels heavy and sturdy in the hand. However on use, it disappoints. The garlic mostly just squishes up and out the top creating a sort of mangled garlic mess that gets gets gummed up in the presser foot. The minimal amount of garlic that does press out the intended way, gets stuck in the little holes, and the only way to get it out when washing was with a straight pin. I considered possible user error--am I putting too much garlic? Too little? Is my garlic too soft? Alas, this press just prefers to launch huge chunks of garlic mess out the top. I will go back to mincing.

This is the worst garlic press I’ve ever used…the inner basket comes out each time I try and put a new clove in. The skin of the garlic lines the bottom of the basket and you get very little pulp. It makes a mess when you open it after you’ve put in a clove…I’ve tried to use it a few times to rule out user error and it’s definitely the press. I will be throwing it out after only 3 uses.

I’m sorry but this is the worst garlic press I have ever owned. All it does is press the garlic and smushes it into the chamber and doesn’t come out the other side! What’s the purpose of this other than to make you more frustrated??

I am honestly surprised by how much I could dislike a garlic press but here we are. It’s so dysfunctional. The insert comes out when you open it, spills the garlic everywhere but where you want it, and more garlic comes mashed out the side than through the press. Terrible design.

THis is without doubt the worst garlic press ever made. Ever. It sure is a press, and that's all. You will get less than nothing out of it. In fact, it's like a garlic black hole, what goes in, never comes out.

Don’t Buy! Inefficient, messier than mincing by hand, wastes product.

I should've read the reviews. This thing is trash. It just squeezes the garlic and barely any comes out.

The little cup coming out is nice for cleaning, but it tends to move a lot during use, so that was frustrating. Product worked as expected besides that.

The absolute worst! The containers for the garlic falls out there are huge gaps in the press.

The press part fall out all the time, very difficult to use.

This thing is great! Very well made and of great quality. It doesn’t feel like this thing will easily break. I like that the area that the garlic comes through when you crush it is removable to make for easier cleaning.

Horrible. I’ve been looking for a good garlic press. Thought I needed to go back to an old fashion looking one. This one was really hard to use and clean. It hardly minced. Save your money and Look for something better.
