Kurgo Half Hammock Dog Crate Cover - Heather Gray

I absolutely love the idea. the material is great and it is very waterproof. my only issue is the straps used to make it a half hammock aren't incredibly difficult to get perfect if you ever really can get them adjusted perfectly. also, you lose the use of the second rear seat because the straps are coming across in an angle. I originally bought this so that I can have my dog in the ham off and still use the back seat.

TLDR: Perfect for sedans or smaller cars, highly recommend for quality and ease of care and use. Purchased this out of desperation at one of those massive pet stores and very glad I did! My pup is a 19lb beagle-chi mix who is always strapped in the car and either sits or lays down. The majority of car seat covers are all black, ugly and massive. This half hammock is perfect for my needs as it’s lightweight, easy to install and remove and can be quickly packed away without taking up too much space. Any dirt can be shaken or wiped off. The only downside for me is that it only comes in one size that is clearly designed for sedans or smaller cars. It perfectly fits the Tesla Model 3 but cannot be fully anchored in the Model Y (or presumably other cars of similar size or bigger). I really hope Kurgo releases a larger size that is tested on a variety of vehicles so that they can provide a sample list for reference.

This is a product, with great functionality and practicality, that is certainly a go-to option, for dog-and-human transport!

Very difficult to install and directions are poor. The quality is not very good. Still trying to properly install. Not worth the money. If I can’t get it installed, I will probably return it. I wish the instructions were clearer. I am very disappointed because I thought it would solve my problem but it did not.

We've had tha hammock for three weeks now and i love it. I wish we had found this for the last dog we had. Ik controls the dog and where he is in the xar and still allows a passenger in the back.

I purchased this in hopes that it would fit my Toyota Sequoia (captains chairs on 2nd row). I guess my vehicle is too large because after 1 year of trying and making numerous adjustments I can't get it to fit properly, and while it does somewhat protect the seat from my dog it's incredibly frustrating to constantly have to adjust the cover after she gets in...maybe works better on a mid-size SUV but def. don't recommend for large sun's...

I bought this this week, and took my dog, Fletcher, to a dog park about 20 minutes' drive from our house. When we weren't even halfway there, he had jumped over the side of the hammock and sat in my daughter's (thankfully empty) high-backed booster seat! This would be great if it actually did what it was supposed to. Fletcher freaks out and gets tangled in the seatbelt if we use a car harness to restrain him in the car, and a travel crate big enough to hold him will not fit either of our cars. This was a last resort, and did not even do what it was supposed to--keep dog from moving to other parts of the car in transit, for safety.

Seems to fit great. Love not having the entire seat covered for the pup.

Love it! My dog used to take over my entire hatchback trunk, and I was looking for something that would allow me to have him in the backseat but still have multiple passengers with me. This was the ideal find! It fits well, I have my trunk space back, my large dog has lots of room, and he loves being close enough to still get pets at stop lights!

Well made. Sturdy material. Easy to install. The only thing missing that would give it a 5 star is the side toward the door; the small flap goes down and if it had a bigger flap that goes up to protect the door, it would be perfect (it could connect with snaps perhaps). Our first use of the Hammock resulted in our door rest material getting chewed!

Great product and most people when they see it says they never knew half hammock existed and was impressed. I will recommend this product to other dog owners. Great value!!!!

Firs well, adjusts easy and stays put. Optional hooks for cars without rear headrests would be nice.

It is a great half hammock but unfortunately it did not properly fit my tesla so I am having to return it. Wish it would have worked out.

It supports my dog and keeps her from losing her balance off the seat in my car. I was hoping it would help more with her attempts to come up front, but she’s quickly figured out how to step over it into the front. She is a larger dog (70lb shepherd ) and it would probably be more effective if she weren’t so tall. It does help keep her shedding fairly contained.

Perfect for a Small or medium dog. He cannot scratch the seats, he’s confined to a space, its perfect!

Nice material, attachment method could use work. Would attach great if I had a 1950s car with square seats. Fit is sloppy for a modern car.

Bought one for the truck and one for the SUV. Our 40lb mix breed pup fits easily with room to spare. Love that it keeps him separated from a car seat - we have a baby on the way. Easy to install, easy to clean.

Nice to keep my 25lb dog seperated from the rest of the cabin and allows the other seats to be free for passengers! Also makes cleanup a breeze - generally keeping all the shedding in the hammock. Well worth it!

I bought this today for my husband's new Duramax. Our dog is a 65lbs Aussie Retriever. He has room to curl up and lay down. It seems like a durable quality that will last. However, the straps do not stretch out to fit the headrests of the truck. Will have to make some kind of rigging to get the "wall" to hold up properly. Everything else fits, it just doesn't extend to other side of truck.
