Applying too much serum or not allowing sufficient absorption time before makeup application can contribute to smearing. Gently patting, rather than rubbing, the serum into the skin can help with absorption. The formula of your concealer or makeup also plays a role, as some are more prone to smearing than others. Finally, individual skin type can affect absorption time. To minimize smearing, use a pea-sized amount, wait 1-2 minutes after applying before putting on makeup, and consider a primer for a smoother base.

Not up to par for L’Oreal
I liked it first. It seemed to tighten the puffy under eye. But I realize after using half the bottle that I’ve actually have more wrinkles in that area. The area is dryer probably from the caffeine. So I decided to use up the bottle, but 3/4 of the bottle gone, it turned yellow. I thought the yellow was because the applicator was contaminated, even though I washed my face before use. But I do have a second bottle that’s never been used, and it also has turned yellow. All my face products are L’Oreal. So I am surprised that this is not up to my expectations. Highly recommend other L’Oreal products.

When I purchased this product it was clear. I have 3/4 of it left & it has turned a cloudy urine color. The bottle has no expiration date listed nor any storing instructions. Also, the phone number listed on the bottle is not a working number.

Sticky Until Fully Absorbed - Don't Over-Apply
My first question is, why in earth is it sticky until it fully dries? I apply a little bit with the applicator and then I use my hands to massage the rest in. As it's absorbing or drying back, it gets sticky. Once the product fully absorbs or dries back, the stickiness goes away. It's just odd because I've never experienced that with an eye serum. So despite that, this product works! I have very sensitive skin and have noticed the puffiness and lines near my eyes become reduced. For only being 34, I'll take that as a huge win. Don't over-apply this product or that sticky feeling sticks around a little longer than desirable. Just be patient as the serum is absorbed into your skin and that gross, sticky sensation will go away. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I received a sample size tiny bottle of this, probably enough for maybe 5-7 uses. Dried my skin out so bad, I had dry patches on my forehead and all around my mouth, my face was actually sore from this serum. It took a week of me not using this to alleviate the dryness.
