Café de Olla (Clay-Pot Brewed Coffee) is one of Mexico’s most beloved coffee traditions. Originally made for revolutionary troops by simmering coffee, cinnamon, and piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar) in clay pots, this aromatic brew has become an iconic part of Mexican culture. At La Monarca Bakery, we honor this tradition by blending freshly roasted coffee with cinnamon and brown sugar—using only simple, high-quality ingredients with no artificial flavors or preservatives.

La Monarcha Bakery Cafe de Olla is like a warm hug in a mug. Smooth and Perfectly Sweet
This is a premade blend of coffee and warming spices that will bring you back to your grandma’s kitchen. The coffee is sweet without being overly sweet perfect for my first or last cup of the day. I love that I don’t have to find piloncillo to make my own anymore.

My Fave Coffee
I have been drinking this Cafe de Olla for a few years now, and am addicted to this coffee. It tastes great with or without half & half. It has an amazing aroma and is very smooth. Glad I can buy it at my target now!
