Book Synopsis

This tale immerses us in an imaginary country called Katawi and more specifically

in the village of Biigui. In this village, there was a wealthy peasant named Pabii, whose land held no secrets for him. He had several children, but the last one, named Palay, possessed special wisdom and gifts from God. Acting as an advisor to his father, he succeeded in helping him increase his agricultural yield. Distributing his millet to the entire village for free, the village chief stepped down and appointed Pabii in his place, who in turn appointed his son Palay as king. Managing the village with unparalleled wisdom, he was elected mayor of his locality. As mayor, he worked with love and sincerity to develop his village, which would become the first city of Katawi. After his resignation from the mayor's office, he ran in the presidential elections, which ultimately made him president of Katawi. He established Biigui as the political capital and propelled his country in all areas: social, educational, industrial, scientific, economic, political, cultural, artistic... so much so that Katawi became an El Dorado that attracted many foreigners. Katawi went from being one of the last underdeveloped countries to becoming one of the world's leading powers. This was not without its challenges, as Palay faced social troublemakers and sorcerers like Bonegwari, Souley, and Tchètchèna.
