I have purchased this in the past and it is yummy, but I stopped due to high glucose. If the tapioca maltodextrin (which raises blood glucose) were substituted with something healthy, I would buy again.

This is one of those times. Although I want to, I generally do not like mushrooms. I am fairly active and try to live a healthy lifestyle. Laird’s Hot Chocolate with the functional mushrooms got it right. It tastes delicious. I crave it. It’s not only much more beneficial than regular hot chocolate, you will be supporting a business worth supporting with your dollars as well. If you are on the fence wondering if you should try this or not, this is me telling you to do it. No regrets. I will be purchasing again and buying other products because of this product. Well done.

I liked this in the winter months as a hot drink, even though it is a bit too sweet for me (so I just used less than the package said to use). When the weather got warmer, I still wanted to get the mushroom benefits, so I made it into chia pudding: 1/2 cup Laird hot cocoa mix, 1/2 cup chia seeds, and 2 cups coconut milk (I'm sure almond or oat would be great also). Whisk it together, spoon into separate bowls with lids (I made 5 servings) and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy alone or with dry cereal, sliced fruit, nuts, pumpkin seeds, etc.
